CAS-ual Fridays Callenge

Hello! So after work yesterday i checked out my favorite blogs and found lots of challenges i want to work on this weekend. Thought i would get a good night sleep and wake up ready for Saturday!

Wrong, i couldn't sleep!! I thought for sure i would fall asleep, i was tired! So i finish reading a book, tried playing Nintendo DS... no luck, i was wide awake. So i though why lie in bed, i'll make a card!!

This is the card i made for CAS-ual Fridays challenge, which is a sketch:

I stamped a flower several times on pink pattern paper from my scrap bin and cut them out. I already had a card scored and folded, i was just going to use it to check if the size would be good, but i really liked how the pink flowers popped on the black cardstock.

I had a different idea for the scallops but it was just wasn;t working for me (and i wasn;t going to fight it at 1am!) So i just took the scalloped border i had punched and used a opaque white pen to trace the scallop border.

Then for a little sparkle and texture at the top i added black glitter dots to each scallop and some of the center dots on each flower.

I layered 3 flowers on pop up dots, and wa-la a clean and simple card .... when i was done about 1:30am, i hopped in bed and went right to sleep!!

Have a great day!!!
