Its time for Papertrey Ink's monthly Blog Hop and we have this photo for inspiration:

I really like these colors, very summery!!  I had a good friend who needed a Bachelorette card and she wanted a denim/white eyelet trim, country chic card. I had the eyelet part, but wasn;t really sure what do to, until i saw this picture, i knew these colors would go great with a denim color and white eyelet trim.

First i had to come up with some denim. I recently moved and didn;t keep my denim fabric. But i came up with what i think is a good alternative. I used some blue textured cardstock and PTI Linen impression plate. Before running it through my Big Shot, i inked up the impression plate with white pigment ink. I used an older ink pad, i didn;t want major coverage just the hint of white. You can kind of see it in the picture, but it looks really good in person!!

Next i stamped and embossed the flower image in white, along with the sentiment 'celebrate.' Then i did the flowers again on white cardstock. I used all the colors in the inspiration picture to color the flowers. I just pressed each ink pad onto a clear blog and used a little water and a paint brush to color the flowers and leaves.

I then cut out each flower and leave and adhered them to the card. I added a bit of white eyelet trim around the blue panel and last added some alpha stickers to spell lets.

Since this card is for a Bachelorette party, i used 'lets celebrate' on the front and on the inside stamped 'the bride'

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Dana
