Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop

Hi!

Its Papertrey Ink Blog Hop time again! This month the challenge was to use fabric or felt in a wrapping of a gift.

I wasn;t really sure what i was going to do, but eventually (like yesterday!) it came to me. A few weeks ago i found two mercury glass globes for my mom's birthday. And yesterday i was thinking on how could i have wrapped it if it was a Christmas gift.

I started with 4 fabric strips, i used wine crepe black satin fabric. i placed the four strips flat on the table, like a plus sign. Place the globe (this globe has a side that is slightly flat, so it dosen;t roll) in the center of the fabric, gather at the top of the globe and tie with twine. Ta-da!  Super easy, right?!?

So to jazz it up a little i added a tag! And of course i have to use something PTI!  :)

I die cut some dark chocolate felt and added a eyelet at the top. After die cutting the banner i stamped Happy Holidays in dark chocolate ink, then i adhered it to the tag. Last i added 3 dark red glitter brads below the banner.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dana
