Blog Hop - Core'dinations and Hampton Art - Part 1

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today i am lucky enough to participate in 2, yes that is 2 blog hops today! I hope you will take a little time to check them both out! I made a Valentine Ensemble: a love banner for Hampton Art/Core'dinations Feature Week and a card and candy jar for Made With Love Blog Hop! There are tons of inspiration and giveaways on these two hops too!!

If you are here from Gloria's blog you are in the right place!! OR if you are here from Erin Lee you can scroll down for my Made With Love post or click here to go directly!

More details and links to the Made With Love Blog Hop and Part 2 of my Valentine Ensemble are at the end of this post!

We received some awesome cardstock from Core'dinations and it was fun to use them with some Hampton Art stamps!

I recently got a Silhouette and have been playing with it ever since! I'm not going to into a lot of details, just a few notes on how i made each part of the banner!

I used an embossing folder for the polka dots and used my Silhouette to cut the triangles. I also used it out the flowers and hearts.

For the letters, i first stamped and embossed some cardstock, then used the Silhouette to cut them out. I also stamped a arrow, a love circle and a ticket, those i cut out by hand!

I used some twine to string it up! Each flag is movable so you could space each flag out like this:

or push them together like this:

Hampton Art and Core'dinations are both having giveaways. You have until Sunday February 17th to leave a comment on each designers blog from the whole week AND both Hampton Art & Core'dinations have an extra giveaway when you enter the Rafflecopter on each of their blogs!!

Your next stop is Debbie Standard!

I also hope you will click here at Taheerah Atchia blog to start or directly to my post for the Made With Love Blog Hop which includes some amazing valentine inspiration, Part 2 of my Valentine ensemble AND some awesome prizes!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  17. The embossing on the letters is really nice. Who knew you could emboss before cutting? I'm going to have to try that. Love the project and all the fussy cutting you did too. That little arrow is too cute.
