The Alley Way Stamps Feburary Blog Hop

Hey everyone!!

Its release day at The Alley Way Stamps!! YAY!! There are 3 new sets, plus a mini set free with purchase over $40 (details below!!) AND today is the last day to get 25% off your order!! Use TAWSbirthday3 at checkout (the freebie will need to be $40 after the coupon code and before shipping!!

Today i have 2 cards!! I couldn;t just choose which one to show you, so i'm going to show you both!! I'm entering my second card at Seize the Sketch!!

For my first card i stamped the strawberry image several times from the Tooty Fruity set, colored them and cut them out. Next i used PTI basket die and cut one from brown card stock.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

The side of the basket has a tab on the side (usually you cut 4 and assemble) and i scored it at the baskets edge, then i scored the tab again. This second tab is what i adhered to the card base. I 'filled' the basket with strawberries and adhered the basket flap with foam tape, trimming off the extra.

I adhered the remaining strawberry's on top of the basket and at the bottom on top of the basket (like they fell off the top of the basket). I used the U and R from Gabfest and the Berry Special from Tooty Fruity, and stamped them all above the basket.

For my second card i used this sketch from Seize the Sketch Challenge:

I trimmed some mint wood pattern paper and rounded the corners. Then i stamped the square strip with the pattern from Bot Time. Next i stamped the cuuuute peaches on pattern paper and colored them with my distress markers.

I gathered the peaches together and tied a black twine bow at their stems. Then i adhered them to the card. Last i stamped the sentiment Hope You're Peachy.
