Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps

I'm showing off the new stamp set Ta-da! The magician in this set is so darling!!! I made an interactive card to show off his magical skills!!! I stared with a Silhouette cut files - rotating pie chart and chalkboard labels. In the software i scaled down the pie chart so it would fit on a card. Then i used the cut line of one of the chalkboard labels, made it smaller and moved it over one of the full pie cart pieces, hit the weld button and wa-la it now has a tab!

I cut a back piece and the front piece you see from purple card stock, the tabbed piece was cut from watercolor paper. I cut the actual pie chart piece, but just traced it on the tabbed piece so i would know where to stamp. I stamped several images from the Ta-da! stamp set, the tabbed piece rotates just over half a pie.

I stamped, colored and cut out the magician, his hat and wand. I also colored the images on my tabbed piece. Assembling was pretty easy, i used a brad to hold my back layer, the tabbed layer and the front purple layer. I added the pie cart to my card base, but had the top half extend over the top fold of the card base. Next i trimmed off the bottom portion of my card base so that from tip of pie chart to bottom edge measured 5.5 inches and would fit in an envelope!

Next i added some pattern paper to the card base, sliding it under the tabbed layer, then added black card stock along the cards bottom. I added the magician with foam dots and placed his at so each image would look like its coming out of the hat. I also stamped Shazam above the magician and added some wink of stella to the sentiment and around each image on the tabbed element (you can't really see this in the photo's but its there!!
