The Alley Way Stamps September Blog Hop!

Hi!!

Its time for The Alley Way Stamps September Blog Hop!! That means its release time and we some fun stamps!!! Three new sets plus a mini set free with a $40 purchase. There is also a chance to win all three new sets!!! (details below)

But first i made not one but two projects to share today!! My first project is a Kraft pillow box that can be filled with candy or gift card. I used my Silhouette to cut the pillow box from Kraft cardstock. I also die cut a tiny little tag and stamped the You're Dino-Mite on the tag. I wrapped the box with orange and white backers twine, threading the tag on it. I tied a bow at one end of the pillow box.

Next i stamped a cute little dinosaur from the new Livin' Fossils set on some watercolor paper. I colored him with distress markers and then cut him. I adhered the dino to the pillow box with foam dots. I also used foam dots to the back of the tag, so it would stay in place and not flap around.

I also made a card to go with the pillow box! I started with a Kraft cardstock panel and a stripe stencil. I added white pigment in with an ink applicator. After i cleaned the stencil, i placed it back over the panel but i moved it over a bit. I added more ink this time a dark orange.

Next i die cut a tag from Kraft and stamped my sentiment, the Happy Birthday from Rock Solid and To A Living Fossil from the Livin' Fossils set. I added a little orange twine to the tag.

I stamped a Dino from the Livin' Fossils and colored him with Distress Markers. I also stamped and colored some grass and a rock. I cut them all out and added them to my card base with foam dots. I also added the tag with foam dots and trimmed off the extra that over hang.
