Spectrum Noir Colorista Blog Hop #2

Hello!

Welcome to the Spectrum Noir Colorista Blog Hop #2!!! The new Colorista products debut on HSN earlier this week and the are going to be debuting in the United Kingdom on Hochanda (similar to HSN!) on September 9th! So the Colorista design team is getting together for a hop starting today and running through September 9th!!

If you are arriving here from the amazing Lori Barnett you are in the right spot!!! Or you can start on Crafter's Companion UK blog! The blog list and awesome giveaway info is at the end of the post, make sure you check it out!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
To start I colored a sheet from the Natures Beauty Pad and used the Colorista markers to color it! I used Lemon, Gold, Nectarine, Orchid, Rose Red, Denim, Cobalt, Pear Green, Forest Green, Burgundy.

Next, I cut a piece of the sheet to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 card base. With sharp scissors, I fussy cut around the flowers and leaves in the trimmed panel. I did discard a few of the stems, as I think it was too busy with them. Make sure to color the edges with a black marker! This gives the images a nice finished look!

Then I cut a brown pattern paper from Sara Davies Signature Collection - Floral Delight 6 x 6 paper pad. I added this to a white card base and then added the flowers with foam tape.

I stamped Sent With Love on the pink flower with pigment ink. The stamp comes from the Downton Abbey Sentiments 1 stamp set. Last I added a few sequins.
