Hi!!
Today i have a summery card today, even though its not very summery around here in Michigan! Last night it was in the forties and the high only reached the high 60's, but i'm ok with that! Much better then 80 or 90 degree days!!
I'm submitting this card to The Crafts Meow Summer Time Blog Hop.
I die cut a label shape from watercolor paper, then stamped and embossed the summer time scene. I colored the image with distress inks and water.
Next i adhered the layered cloud board to the cardbase and then the fringe border below it. In between the borders i added black dash lines with a fine tip marker.
I added the colored image to the cardbase with foam tape and last stamped the sentiment Hello, Friend at the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Season's Greetings
Hi!
Today i have the Christmas card i promised you yesterday! I am linking this up to Moxie Fab's Holiday Card Challenge.
I'm using a new stamp i got at a scrapbook show a couple weekends ago. I thought this tree was really cute!!
I stamped the tree in brown ink on watercolor paper. Then i colored it with distress markers and water! One side of paper had torn when i got it out of its binding and i liked it, so i tore the top part, but left the other 2 sides alone.
Next i pulled out some orange cardstock and inked the edges. I adhered some jute ribbon to my cardbase, then adhered the tree panel to my card. I stamped the sentiment Season's Greetings in brown ink at the lower right, below the tree.
Last i adhered a length of rusty star's. I picked this up a couple years ago at Hobby Lobby in the mini tree decoration aisle.
Have a great day!!

Dang... Belated Birthday Wishes
Happy Sunday!
Today i meant to share a new Christmas card i made a few days ago, but yesterday i made a card i really liked and wanted to submit it to Moxie Fab's Birthday Card Challenge AND Moxie Fab's Trendy Triangles Challenge!
Instead i pulled out a square punch, punched out some squares out of various scrap papers. I cut a couple of the squares in half (to get triangles) and played with the layout until i liked the shapes the squares and triangles made.
I used double sided adhesive to adhere the squares and triangles on my cardbase. Last i stamped the word dang, added three dots with a marker. Then i stamped Belated Birthday Wishes below it.
Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow i'll post the Christmas card i planned to do today!! LOL

Next i masked and stamp just the word scrumptious from multi-worded sentiment. Then i added two sticker letters so my sentiment would read UR scrumptious.

Deck the Halls
Happy Friday!!!
Yep its the weekend! I've been enjoying my short summer (school starts in a few short weeks :P) and hope to get more crafting done!! I've slowly been starting to think Christmas and i have one Christmas card to share today!
I am submitting this to Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge - Any Thing Goes and Moxie Fab's Holiday Card Challenge.
Also i used a Sweet Stamp Shop sentiment stamp, they have a great challenge Use What You Have! I've been lucky and been a random winner, plus had 2 of my cards picked as the winner, so i decided not to play this week because i hope YOU will play and who knows maybe win too!!
I got the inspiration in using my Cheery Lynn Die from the sentiment Deck the Halls. I used the buttons (cut out from various Christmas pattern papers) to decorate my mantel i made from Kraft paper.
Before i adhered the buttons, i tied two tiny twine bows and adhered the tails across the mantel. Then i added the buttons in and around the twine. Last i stamped the sentiment, masking it so it would be all in a line.
Today's is my last day on The Card Kitchen Kit Blog, make sure you stop by and check out all my cards from this week!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Wishing You a Wonderful Birthday
Hi!
Today i'm added to my birthday card stash! I made a card for Curtain Call Inspiration - Watermelon Wonder. I'm also submitting it to Moxie Fab's Birthday Card Challenge.
My mom and i went to a scrapbook show this past weekend and of course we got lots of stamping goodies! I couldn't wait to play with a new Memory Box die!
I picked out 3 pink ink pads and 1 light green. I rubbed each one on watercolor paper, big enough that i could die cut out a flower for each color. I also die cut 2 from the watercolor paper without any color.
As i die cut these, i saved all the little pieces that you usually throw away. To make my flower background i adhered the thin flower die cut to my cardbase and then used a different color or the white to fill in the little pieces.
Then i die cut a banner and stamped the sentiment, masking the word wonderful so i could stamp it in pink. I also added two rhinestones at each end of the sentiment. Last i adhered the banner with foam tape.
Also don;t forget to check out my cards today at The Card Kitchen Kit blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hey, Cutie Pie!
Hi!
Today i have a card for Sweet Stamp Shop's Use What You Have Challenge. I almost missed this weeks challenge i thought i already did a post for it, but i soon realized i hadn't even taken pictures of the card yet! You have until tonight to play along, so get hopping!! LOL
I wanted to use the Spectacle stamp set and i had the perfect chipboard shape in my stash of embellishments. I need to take a new photo of my embellishment stash, this picture was when it was on the floor, its now in a new container and on a shelf!
I started with a kraft cardbase and and stamped the big glasses with grey ink all over the cardbase. Next i used a kraft die cut that was on my table already. I stamped the sentiment Hey, cutie pie! in black ink.
Then because the die cut was getting a little lost with kraft on kraft, i used a black pen and drew lines around the edge of the shape. I also added a stripe of vellum (also just hanging out on my desk!) This helped break up the busy background. I added some rhinestones at the top and bottom of the vellum.
For my chipboard eyeglass i used some black ink spray, to get the insides and edges i used tweezers and sprayed all the sides nice and good. (while my spray was out i also did 2 other eyeglasses to use in the future!) Last i adhered the eyeglass to my die cut and adhere that to my cardbase with foam tape!
I have more cards on The Card Kitchen Blog today, make sure you check it out!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
