Hi there!!
I'm popping in super fast to share a card with you featuring some new The Alley Way Stamps! This is a quick post because i'm typing this up the night before and i have to get to studying for an Organic Chemistry test today!! (yikes!!) I hope it will not be too bad...... I hope! :)
Anyway i found some pretty black and purple pattern paper from a Halloween pad that i wanted to use. I decided to use one of the super cute birds form Flap Happy and color him an aqua color with my Spectrum Noir markers. I thought the aqua would pop nicely against the black and dark purple!
I added the pattern paper to a black card base, then stamped and embossed the A Little Birdie Told Me sentiment at the bottom. Next i added the bird with foam tape. Then i stamped the Hello speech bubble in purple ink, cut it out and add it too with foam tape.
The card need just a little something else, so i added three black and three purple enamel dots! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Happy 29th Birthday
Hello!
Dana here with a birthday card for you! I used two wood stamps available at Hobby Lobby Deep Breath Birthday and Happy 29th, perfect stamps to pair together!
I started by stamping the Deep Breath stamp on water color paper. Then i used my distress markers and some water to color the fish and birthday cake. Next i fussy cut them both out.
For the background i used a wave stencil, holding it in place over a white card base with washi tape. Then i used two different blue distress markers to sketch or squiggle in the stencil. I used the fine tip side of the markers, it dosen;t have to be perfect, i just really like the look i get. I did this only about half way up the stencil.
Next i stamped the sentiment above the waves, then added the fish and cake with foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Witchy
Hello,
It's time for another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More, this week the challenge is Holiday! Easy, right?
I need to make a few fall and Halloween cards so i stamped a bunch of images and have been slowly coloring them as i complete other cards. Since the challenge Holiday i went with a Halloween card and finished coloring a Penny Black Mimi witch!
Then i flicked white opaque ink over a black card base, setting it aside to dry. Next i fussy cut Mimi and a small pumpkin i had also stamped and colored.
I found on my desk a watercolor circle left over from another project, which i added to the card base with foam tape. Then i added the witch and pumpkin on top of the circle with foam tape.
I decided not to add a sentiment because there wasn;t a real good way to add one and i didn;t want to warp the card base with heat embossing, so i went with out one.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will play along with us at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Love You
Hello!
Today i'm on The Alley Way Stamps blog sharing a card featuring the new Big Time stamp set! This is a fabulous font, so big and bold and well pretty!! For my card i decided to go elegant!
I found this really pretty aqua and gold pattern paper, i trimmed it to mat on a white card base. Before adhering it to the card i cut a 1/4 strip to break up the pattern a little.
Next i stamped the Love from the Big Time set on a the matching SVG. I used an aqua ink that matched the pattern paper. I also cut the mat for the Love, but i wanted it black so i used a black marker to color it before adhering the aqua Love on top.
I added the matted Love to the card base with foam tape. Then stamped You in black ink below the Love. Last i added a few black sequins!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Such a fun stamp called Dance It Out!! It is a rubber cling stamp with four ladies dancing with 3 different sentiments in the distinct Art Impressions style - witty and fun!!
I started my card by stamping the image with Memento black ink, then coloring it up with Spectrum Noir Markers (i used BP2, BP6, BT1, BT2, BT4, CG1, CG2, CT1, CT3, CT4, DG2, EB5, FS2. FS3, FS6, GB5, GB8, GB10, IG2, IG4, OR1). I picked colors that would match some new thin washi tapes i picked up at Michael's. For the first dancer i used the Colorless Blender pen to add polka dots to here dress.
Next i fussy cut out the top 3/4 of the image, using a black marker to ink the edges. I left the bottom of the image in the white card stock.
Then i added the strips of thin washi tape to a white card base. The background is a bit busy but i really like how it turned out. After applying the washi tape i added my cut out image with foam tape. I waited until it was adhered before i trimmed off the over hang from the white part i left at the bottom. Because i knew that the bottom part of my card would be covered by the white cardstock i left attached to my image i didn;t add washi tape to the whole card.
Next i found a Simon Says Stamp Talk Bubbles die and cut it from white card stock. I stamped the When In Doubt Dance It Out! sentiment on the bubble, then added it to my card with foam tape.
Last i added Wink of Stella to the the polka-dots, purple dress and green cardigan. Dancing should have a little sparkle!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you will stop by the Simon Says Stamp blog to see what the amazing ladies from Art Impressions have done with stamp set!!

Art Impressions Challenge #168 Cut Your Cards
Hello
There's still time to play along with the Art Impressions Challenge #168. The challenge is to Cut Your Cards, basically have a cut on the front of your card. This goes along with NEW Try-fold and Window to the Worlds stamps!
I used the new Halloween Try-fold, its super easy to make. The stamp set comes with directions on the card size and where to score. I stamped the inside image, then flipped it over and stamped the other two images.
With Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils i colored all the images. Then i trimmed the two sides and folded the score lines, this makes a kind of try-fold card.
Next i die cut a small circle and stamped the small little ghost, then punched a small hole at the top. I threaded some black and white bakers twine through the tag i made, then wrapped it around the tri-fold and tied it in a bow.
Next i adhered the tri-fold to a black piece of card stock. Oh i almost forgot i stamped the sentiment on the second fold, the inside below the spooky house is blank so a message can be added.
I hope you will play along with us and i can't way to see your creations!!
