Hello!!
Today i'm sharing a card i made for the Curtian Call Inspiration Challenge - Farm Fresh challenge. I pulled out my October Afternoon: Farm Girl collection for inspiration, mainly because it is a farm inspired pack and i really have no other farm like stamps as i don't really care for that kind of style. This collection has some really nice farm images and such, but not surprisingly i'm was drawn to the pretty flower pattern that is included in the collection.
I'm also using some new product i purchased a little bit ago. Now if you follow my blog long enough you might realize that i made a new years resolution not to buy any more crafty supplies..... well that lasted about 3 months!!! However, i just stopped by Michael's and Joann's and didn;t really feel any need to add to my crafty supplies, i am realizing that i would rather purchase supplies from various companies online, supplies that you just can't get at the big 3 (don't forget Hobby Lobby!!) And really i just don't need the $1 pearls in the discount section, no matter how many colors they come in!! lol
Ok so on to my card, oh and the new purchase i made are these tiny flower die cuts from A Muse Studio! I LOVE them! You will be seeing them a lot! I love they size: Tiny, but oh so perfect for cards!!
To start i trimmed the flower pattern paper to match my Kraft card base, then punched a border along the bottom. I also added a touch of distress ink along the edge. Next i used a journal card from the Farm Girl collection that said Garden on it, kind of like a flash card looking card. I added a pink word element to the journal card with a tiny paper clip.
Next i die cut several tiny flowers from different pattern papers in the collection. I also die cut some flowers from tea stained canvas that i have laying around. I adhered the flowers to the journal card, some with foam dots. Then i added the journal card to my card base with foam dots and last stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment at the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Blue Bird Hello
Hey!!
Today i am sharing a nice springy card with a lovely blue bird! I've started to see birds around here so spring must be on the way! Birds would know wouldn't they? lol
I am entering this in Moxie Fab's Styling with Stencils Challenge.
I used a technique i learn at the Online Stencil Card Class, i forget what its called but basically you draw lines in the stencil shape. For my card i used the fine tip end of my distress markers and filled in each part of the stencil with several colors. For example with the bird i started with a light blue, making long lines (vertical lines, top to bottom). Then i went in with a darker blue, added my lines from about middle down. Next i used my darkest blue and added lines starting near the bottom of the bird. Last i went back with my light blue and added more lines to help blend. I also added a few darker lines above the main line to help blend a bit. (hopefully this all makes sense!!)
I continued to do this for the leaves and the branches. I went in with a find tip black marker and gave the bird a eye. Next i stamped the sentiment Hello in black ink. Last i trimmed the panel a little and added a blue strip at the right and adhered it all to my card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I'll be back each day this coming week, I've been on a roll in the card making department!! Its like the total opposite of having no Mojo and is a great feeling, so I've been taking advantage of it!!! LOL It also dosen;t hurt that i have been playing with new TAWs stamp, stay tuned this weekend for the start of the sneak peeks!!!

Re-Be Inspired Challenge #50
Hey There!
Just posting a card The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge #50! You still have a week to play along for your chance to win a TAWS stamp set. This is the inspiration picture:
I love the green bike in the photo, so because i want think spring i pulled out TAWS stamp set Flower Doodles to play with. I stamped the flowers in green ink. Then to also match the photo i colored some parts of the flower with grey, however its really hard to see the grey, and when i saw this i realized i should have used a darker grey.... but its already i like it anyway!! :)
Next i stamped the sentiment Love You Lots. I also pulled out 3 wood veneer hearts. I used green copic markers to color them. First coloring them with the lighter green, then with a darker green just adding ink at the edges. The color bleeds in towards the middle of the hearts giving it an interesting look (or at least i think its an interesting look! hehehe!)
I added the hearts to two of the flowers and the O of the love. I hope you will submit a TAWS card!! I can;t wait to see your creations!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Heard You Were Dragon
Here there!!
So i have a pile of odds and ends on my desk that always seams to grow! These odds and ends are extra die cuts, buttons, stamped images and such that didn;t make it onto a card. I always tell my shelf that i need to use these and only these, until they are all gone!! (i also have another little envelope thing filled with these odds and ends too) But i never seam to use them, but today that changed with this card! Everything was from that pile except the card it self, the pearls and wood veneer!
I found the dragon, already cut and colored, along with a border punched from purple card stock. I also used a kraft label already cut and placed the fancy border across it. I popped the dragon on foam dots and placed it on the label and border.
I adhered the label on the brown card base. I also dug through my embellishment stash and pulled out a wood veneer speech bubble. I inked it up with brown dye ink, then stamped the sentiment Hi with white pigment ink. I also stamped the sentiment Heard You Were Dragon on the kraft label. Last i added a few green and purple pearls!
Hopefully i'll use more of my odds and ends! And who knows one of these days my craft desk just might free of them!!

Melon Thanks
Hey!!
Today i have a nice spring card for you, because you know spring has to come sometime! I see little itty bitty signs of it here and there! Since its been such a long winter i have been so drawn to spring colors and images. Today i am playing with a fun stamp from Penny Black!! I can't stop inking up this stamp and playing with the matching stencil! I'm sure i'll have more project to share in the coming weeks!!
I am entering this card in Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking's March Gallery Challenge. The theme is melon and mint. This card has a lot of melon with just a pinch of mint!!!
To start i stamped the Penny Black's flower image with watermark ink and embossed in with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. I used some PTI Melon Berry ink to color with flowers. Their ink works well with water, kind of like watercoloring. I also used Spring Moss for the leaves.
Next i stamped the sentiment Thanks and added some enamel dots, in melon and mint (here is the pinch of mint!!) I also pierced some holes along the bottom and threaded some twine. I tied it in a bow at the left and added a melon dot to the center.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully this inspires you do to some spring stamping!!

Hello Spring!
Hi there!!
Today i have 3 quick spring or Easter tags for you! I did these for the Cure For They Monday Blues Challenge #8. Taheerah has been picking some gorgeous inspiration photos and i finally got around to playing again. Here is this weeks photo:
I went with the pink, yellow, grey and white colors in the photo and made some quick spring tags. I first stamped the bunny, chick, and lamb from pink, yellow and grey card stock. I also stamped them again on some scrap paper. I cut them all out, then cut out the their belly and ear centers from the white card stock.
To make these even easier, use a opaque white pen and color in the bellies and ears. Thought about that AFTER cutting out all the little pieces, of course!! LOL
I die cut some tags from white card stock and adhered each die cut image with foam tape. Next i stamped the sentiment Hello Spring on each tag. Last i added a little pink twine to the top of each stamp!!
Easy peasy!! Cute little spring stamps AND easy to make multiples of!!
Have a great day!!

UR Special
Hey there!!
How is everyone doing?!?! Its cold and there was snow yesterday, but i'm so done with that! I'm thinking out of mind out of sight!! (think it will work?!?! hehe)
Today i have a card i made for The Runway Inspired Challenge. Here is the fashion inspiration! (so shiny!)
I dug out some silver glitter paper and wondered if i could emboss on it! Well turns out you can! And i love the result. I used watermark ink and The Alley Way's new stamp set Spotted. With some washi tape and post it notes i masked of all but a triangle at the top of my glitter panel. I stamped and embossed each line until the triangle was complete. Removed the washi tape and wa-la a nice shiny, dotty triangle!!
For a sentiment i die cut a U and R, then pressed them into watermark ink and embossed them with the same black embossing powder i used for the triangle. This gave the letters a nice glossy look to them.
Next i stamped and embossed the sentiment special from The Alley Way's Tooty Fruity stamp set. I added the U and R and a grey jewel. I also added 3 big silver sequins at the triangle, adding enamel dots to the sequins centers!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
