Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Hero Arts

a2z Scrapbooking sells mainly Hero Arts products, including Hero Arts digital files. They have a few coffee themed products, for my cards I used Hero Arts Caffeine Fix Digital Kit and Sugertree Stamps Hug in a Mug Digital Stamps.

After printing out different images and sentiments from both files, I decided to make a matching card set. To color some of the images I used my Spectrum Noir Markers: AG1, AG3, AG5, AP1, AP3, AP4, EB5, EB6, MB1, MB3, MB4.

I used these same colors through the cards, along with pink and grey cardstock. Some cards I also used a chevron stencil and a stitched oval die. I also used Hero Arts Color Layering Bird & Branch and Just For You by Lia along with HA ink Bubble Gum, Field Greens, and Forever Greens.

I made a 'coffee' battery to go with the Low Battery Need Caffeine sentiment. the red lightning bolt is from Waffle Flower Stamps Rain Check set.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started with a grey card base and used Sweet Stamps Banister Stencil. I used Versamark ink to ink up the top half or so of the stencil. Next, I added a strip of gold polka washi tape where I stop inking the stencil.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Then I stamped the crutch kitty and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color him. I used IG3, IG4 to make the stripes and then CR4 for the ears and cheeks.

I fussy cut him out and added him to the card with foam dots. Then I stamped the Ouch sentiment, cut it out and added it to with foam dots.

Art Impressions Challenge #228

Hello!

It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #228 - Perfect Pasttimes!! AI also has a great new release of 4 new Work & Play clear stamps!! Make sure you stop by the blog to see all the sets! My card features the Gotta Garden set! It's right up my alley, I love gardening and I can't wait for warmer weather!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
But anyway I started my card by stamping the wheelbarrow on watercolor cardstock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils, BUT I didn't use water to smooth out the pencil. Instead, I used an alcohol blender pen!! Make sure you get/use an extra blender because the pencil can stain your pen tip.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

After coloring, I cut out the image with a square die. From my desk, I found this strip of green pattern paper and some extra watercolor splatter scrap paper. I stamped the I Dig you sentiment on the splatter piece and then used a stapler to secure it to the pattern paper strip.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

From blue cardstock, I made a card base and then added the strip of pattern to the card with foam tape. Then I added the stamped square but at a little angle. I trimmed off the overhang and lastly added a few matching glitter enamel dots.

Pots & Containers Art Impressions Watercolor Stamps

Hell!

I'm on the Art Impressions blog today!! It's still cold where I live and there is even snow in the forecast, but I'm ready for spring!! Creating for spring helps to know that eventually, spring has to arrive for real!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started with the different pots and then added in the flowers and foliage. I used the following Watercolor sets: Small ContainerFoliage Set 1Flowering MailboxOpen WindowChest of Flowers.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Along with the stamps I used many Distress Markers. I used: Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber, Gathered Twigs, Shaded Lilac, Pumice Stone, Rusty Hinge, Forest Moss, Hickory Smoke, Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso, Victorian Velvet. These markers are nice as one end has a brush and the other a fine point. To add detail and or make darker shadows, I went in with the fine point.

After everything was dry, I trimmed my panel and rounded the corners. Then I wrapped some twine around the panel and tied it in a bow off to one side. I picked out some pattern paper from Echo Park paper Co Petticoats and Pinstripes pad. The watercolor panel went on the pattern paper and then I adhered that to a white card base. I decided to leave off a sentiment, instead, one can be added to the inside to fit the occasion the card is needed for!

Cat-astrophy

Hello!!

If you have a friend who needs a get well card and happens to be a cat lover, then the Catastrophy stamp set is for you!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started by stamping the super cute kitten with the flower and balloon and then I used my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers to color the image. I used AP1, AP3, CR11, DG2, DG4, EB1, EB2, EB4, GB4, Blender. Then I used a circle dies to cut out the image.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Next, I picked out two pattern papers from two different companies. First from Crate Paper Kiss Kiss pad the pretty shades of pink pattern and from My Minds Eye Fancy That pad the gold and cream stripes. First I added the Crate Paper to the bottom of a card base. Then I cut the stripe pattern on a diagonal and added it to the card with foam tape.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Then I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it. I added the circle to the card and then above it the sentiment. From my stash, I added 3 wood stars.

Crafter's Companion on HSN Today!

Hello!!

Today is the day! Crafter's Companion is on HSN TODAY!!! I tried to get a video of my card today but ran out of time, maybe I will be able to share it in a couple days! To see all the new products check out this catalog
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
My card features the Sheena Douglass Perfect Partners, In Full Bloom Collection, specifically the Precious Poppy stamp set and matching die. You can tune in today at 5pm EST to see all these stamps in this collection.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

These stamps are great if you like big cards, or big square cards and of course love flowers! But if you also like A2 size or if you are like me and only really like A2 or smaller cards, you can still use these stamps!! There are lots of great ways to use these stamps, my card is just one idea!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

I started by stamping two of each image. Then I used the matching die to cut them out. With my Spectrum Noir Markers, I colored each image: AG1, AG3, DG3, AP1, AP2, AP3,  DP1, DP2, DP3, DP4, PP1, PP3, PP4, PV4, TN5, TN6.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

Next, I cut out some Crafter's Companion Shimmering cardstock Forest Green. This is the base for the images. I just played around with the placement of the flower until I was happy with it. Then I added foam tape one flower at a time so I cut just use foam tape where needed and liquid glue when the other flowers overlapped. From the smaller flowers, I trimmed off one of the leaves from each small flower.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
In the center I added a brown circle, first stamping and white heat embossed the sentiment. Then I nestled it under some of the leaves and flower edges. I used foam adhesive to adhere it and then I added the two small leaves I cut off earlier. When everything adhered I just used scissors to trim off the flowers and leaves that hang over the edge. Last I added the panel to a white card base!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Let's Par-Tee

Hello!

I'm on the Art Impressions blog today! I don't know about you but I'm dreaming of warmer weather!! If you or a friend are golf fans, warm weather can't come fast enough!! The Par-Tee Golfers stamp set is right up your alley!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started by stamping the golfer guy in the golf cart, then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. I used AB1, AB2, AB3, AG1, AG3, BG1, BG4, BG6, EB5, EB6, FS2, FS4, FS9. With a square die cut, I cut out the image along with a smaller square of white cardstock.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

On the smaller square, I stamped the Par-Tee sentiment. I picked out some pattern paper from Echo Park Paper, Holly Jolly Christmas. I added a green zigzag pattern to a white card base. From a star pattern, I cut another square that was just a little bit smaller than the stamped square.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

I added the pattern square and then the stamped square with foam tape. Then the sentiment square and last I added a few matching enamel dots.

I colored the seahorse with the Colorista Metallic Pencils. But, coming tomorrow are some amazing Metallic Markers that you could get if you don't have the metallic pencils!! I used the Green, Light Blue, Silver, Mica, and Yellow Pencils. Then I fussy cut out the seahorse.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

For the background, I used Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers to do the smooching watercolor technique. I used Navy, Orchid, Marine, and Evergreen. I used my heating gun to dry each layer of color. Then I used white acrylic paint from Sheena Douglass (see the catalog) to flick white spots and set that aside to dry.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

Crafter's Companion & Stamps by Chloe on HSN

Hello!

I'm back with another card feature new product from Crafter's Companion. CC will be on HSN March 7th (Wednesday!) with lots of great new product! My card features just some of the new Stamps by Chloe that will be available!! To see all the crafty goodness check out this catalog!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
I started my card by using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers to do the watercolor smooshing technique! It's super easy, squiggle an Aqua marker on acetate, spritz water, and either press the acetate on watercolor paper or just press your paper to the acetate!! I like to press the paper on the acetate and then use my heat gun to dry it a bit, then press again! Repeat several times until I happy with the colors and layering!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

The colors I used are Orchid, Teal, Red Violet, and Moss. After drying it for the last time I squiggled black on the acetate, added water with a brush and then flicked the color over the background. I set it aside to dry.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

Then I used Stamps by Chloe Layered Flower die to die cut a pink flower. I had some leftover watercolor paper that I had done this smooshing technique and I cut one flower from it. I also had a leftover leaf that I had stamped.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

When my background was nice and dry I used Chloe's Flower Circle die, then I lined up the matching stamp and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then with tweezers, I lightly pulled up the flower petals that the die cut.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
From CC's Beautiful Bloom stamp set I stamped and embossed the Thank You on black cardstock. I notched one end and added it to the card along with the pink flower and leaf.

Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be on later today with another card!! I have lots to share!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion

These packs have several glitter sheets, mirror, and matte sheets. The glitter sheets are awesome!! The sparkle without the grittiness and flaking glitter!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
