Addicted to Stamps and More - Challenge #171

Hello!!

It's time for a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More!! It's a great challenge too!! Anything Goes!!

I decided to go with a Christmas card and use some stamps i got a while back that i hadn;t used yet, Very Merry Christmoose by Unity Stamp Company. Also, i tried my hand at no line coloring!!

I stamped the moose with some Antique Linen Distress Ink on some white watercolor paper. Next i used notched banner die to cut out the moose.

With my Spectrum Noir Markers i colored in the moose. It was a little challenging, but over all it wasn't bad! I think it turned out ok!! I added a little blue rhinestone to the snowflake and stamped the sentiment below the moose. Then i wrapped some twine around the banner and tied it into bow.

Next i used a woodgrain embossing folder to emboss a panel of Kraft card stock. I trimmed it down a little and added it to a Kraft card base. Last i added my stamped banner with foam tape.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #169

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More!! The challenge this week is CAS!! I made this card months and months ago, but hadn;t gotten around to sharing it yet, i guess it was waiting for this challenge!!

This was a really easy card to make, just a little stamping and cutting! I used some stamps from Waffle Flower the Doily Square Stamp. The doily frame was stamped in orange, the sentiment in black and the squiggly behind the sentiment in red. The ink is from Waffle Flowers Spring Blend Chalk Ink.

For the flowers i stamped them the DT Mix set in pink and orange. I also stamped the leaves from that set and fussy cut them all out.

I added the flowers and leaves with foam tape and last added some Wink of Stella to the flowers, and sentiment.

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #165

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! The challenge is a photo inspiration!

Our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations and i used two digi stamps they provided to the design team! I started by printing the framed pumpkin and sentiment on some white card stock.

Next i colored the framed pumpkin with my Spectrum Noir markers, then cut around the frame. I also trimmed the sentiment to a strip.

To follow the photo i cut some thin strips from red, green, blue, purple and orange card stock. Then i adhered them too a 5.5 inch square card. Next i cut a thick strip of black card stock adding it to my card on top of of the colored strips. Bellow that i added the sentiment strip.

Last i just adhered the framed pumpkin on top of the black strip. I thought about adding sequins or enamel dots, but finally decided that the stripes made the card busy enough!!

Hello,

It's time for another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More, this week the challenge is Holiday! Easy, right?

I need to make a few fall and Halloween cards so i stamped a bunch of images and have been slowly coloring them as i complete other cards. Since the challenge Holiday i went with a Halloween card and finished coloring a Penny Black Mimi witch!

Then i flicked white opaque ink over a black card base, setting it aside to dry. Next i fussy cut Mimi and a small pumpkin i had also stamped and colored.

I found on my desk a watercolor circle left over from another project, which i added to the card base with foam tape. Then i added the witch and pumpkin on top of the circle with foam tape.

I decided not to add a sentiment because there wasn;t a real good way to add one and i didn;t want to warp the card base with heat embossing, so i went with out one.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #161

Hello,

It's time fore a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!! The challenge this week is Anything Goes! I dug out a card that i completed at the beginning of spring but never posted, and its perfect little card for the last gasp of summer!

I stared by die cutting a stitched rectangle and stamping the Mimi on a bike with her friend, from the I Heart You set by Penny Black. I colored it up with Copic markers.

Then i found some light pink pattern paper and a matching button which i think are from Fancy Pants, but i have since lost my note on the the supplies i used! I added a little twine to the button before adhering it to the card.

Last i used the friendship sentiment from the Special Wishes stamp set. I stamped the sentiment twice, masking off one side then the other to have the sentiment more horizontal across the card.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #159

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!! The challenge this week is CAS and we have Bugaboo Stamps as a sponsor!

I used the Beach Crab - Scuba Dive digi stamp, resizing it a bit (thought it would be smaller!) and printed it out. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the cute crab. Then i cut it out with a stitched rectangle.

Then i used a Lawn Fawn alphabet set to spell out Crabby. To get the Don't Be i used a small Alphabet to spell it out. I stamped the Don't Be, then added the Crabby with foam tape.

Last i added the panel to a aqua colored card base that matched the water i colored.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #157

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!! The challenge this week is Make Your Mark! Today my card features some Taylored Expressions stamps that i picked up several months ago a scrapbooking show. The set features several images of grumpy animals and hilarious sentiments!! I just love this set and glad i finally got around to using it!! Went i went to find the link to this stamp set i found that they have two other grump animal sets that are just as hilarious!! Going to be shopping soon!! :)

I started by die cutting a white circle, then i stamped the grumpy bunny holding a cupcake. Then i colored him or her up with Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils.

Next i found a background panel that i had used the water color smooshing technique. For some reason i didn;t use it when i made and set it aside to use later and well its now later and i thought it was a good background for my grumpy bunny!

I added the stamped circle to my card, having some go over the edge of the card. I trimmed off the over hang, then stamped one of the sentiments from the set. Last i added some enamel dots that matched my background.
