Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Card 7

 Hello!

It's the past day of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop! You have until 11:55 pm pacific today to get your project linked up! I have one last card for the hop to share!

I started this card with some snowman images from Hello Blue Bird that I had stamped and colored months ago!! I used three on this card, but have a couple pages worth ready to use! Oh, were does the time go!! LOL!!! To color these and the pages I used my Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils, then fussy cut these three snowmen out!

Next, I decided to use the left over foiling I did on this card.  I cut some blue card stock with Hello Blue Bird's Photo Stack die and then cut the center again from my foiled background. The foiling was made with Funky Fossil Designs Snow Flurry stencil. And Wow Embossing Bonding Powder and White Foil.

To adhere the foil to the die cut square I used a double sided adhesive sheet, this was the easiest way to adhere it and not see any glue!

Next, I stamped the sentiment from Cocoa Party on the lower photo. Then adhered the snowmen from Frosty Littles stamp set.

From my pattern paper stash I picked out a Christmas text background, trimmed it and added it to a light blue card base. Then I added my Photo to the front of the card .

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you get your project linked up for your chance at one of the great prizes from our sponsors!!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Card 5

 Hello!

Only a few more days left of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop! Make sure to get your project linked up by Friday for your chance at some wonderful prizes from our sponsors!!

Todays card features Newton's Nook and embellishments from Twiddlers Nook!  I've been eying this Newton's Nook Lovable Llamas for awhile and while think about my next card to make, I though I could have the llama's carrying coffee ups on their backs. That is if it works out how I think it!!

I used a couple cups from Newton Loves Coffee stamp set, stamped them, the llamas and a couple blankets. I colored everything up with Copic markers and added a little gold with Wow Embossing Powder.

Then I fussy cut everything out and arranged the blankets and cups on the llama's. I liked how it turned out! So I moved on to make a shaker card.

To make my shaker I picked out some purple polka dot pattern paper and used a rounded rectangle to cut a window. I covered the window with acetate and then added foam tape around the window's edge. Then I added my fun embellishments!! These came from a new to me shop and fellow Coffee Loving Cardmaker Design Team Member, Amanda Wilcox! Her etsy shop is called Twiddlers Nook! Her shop features fun embellishments and craft tools (more on that in a minute!).

So I used the Burning Embers embellishments and added a pile to the center of my acetate window, then adhered the card base to the foam tape. And wa-la a shaker card!! I added the llamas and the sentiment to the card last!

You might have noticed in my pictures two orange objects, one with some embellishments another with a die and a rabbit paper clip. These are just some of the caft tools from Twiddlers Nook that I mentioned above!

New just in time for the hop is a Magnetic Die Cut Stand! Mine is a coffee cup and in orange!! (orange is my favorite color, and I LOOOOVE the color, its a perfect orange!!!) Amanda has several more colors to pick from, purple, blue, black just to name a few. Plus, there are other shaped stands to choose from!!
The stand is magnetic so you can place the small dies that you use most often or are working with at that moment! Plus the stand sits in a small little tray and you can use that too!!

Another crafty tool Amanda has are little trays in a few different shapes. Mine is a Donut Tray how fun is that!?!?!! Goes great with coffee!! hehe!! Works great with embellishments or those tiny bits!!

Last here is a picture of them both on my desk. I cleaned off my desk before starting my Coffee crafting and of course it got a little messy, though not as bad as it was!! When I'm not using the tray to corral embellishments, it's holding my embellishments that are waiting to be put away!!

The Magnetic stand is holding an die that has to home yet, the stray bunny paper click and I use the stand it sits in to hold the only clear block I use any more! (I use the MISTI for 99% of my stamping!)

Wow, a long post I know, but so worth it!! Make sure to get your project linked up before Friday for your chance to win a gift card to Twiddlers Nook!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Card 4

 Hello!

The Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop is in full swing!! Make sure to check out the coffee/tea/cocoa inspiration and play along for your chance to win some prizes! Check out the CLC blog for all the details.

My card features Dare 2B Artzy Perfect Blend stamp set! I started with Funky Fossil Designs Festive Word die and used three colors of Catherine Pooler ink to blend. I was going for a little bit mod with the colors only in the background!

Then I used a stitched rectangle to cut out the background. From the Perfect Blend stamp set I stamped the coffee cup on white card stock with black ink. I thought about coloring it, but in the end I liked the look of the black and white against the colorful blended background!

Next, I adhered the inked background to a black card base and added the coffee cup with foam tape. Below the coffee cup I stamped the sentiment You Warm My Heart.

Last, I tied a tiny black twine bow and added it to the coffee cup. It needed something else, but sequins and enamel dots were not doing it for me!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I'll be back tomorrow with another coffee themed card!!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Card 3

 Hello!!

My next card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop features Sponsor Stampendous! I picked up the Thankful Kitty a little bit ago, I knew it would be perfect for the hop and well kitties!!!

I stared by stamping the kitties in a row on watercolor card stock. On another piece I stamped two cups, a pumpkin and the sign. In the sign image I stamped Happy Fall Ya'll. Then I trimmed to card stock down and fussy cut the cups, pumpkin and sign.

Next, used my Distress Markers to color the kitties and then I added the cups, pumpkin and sign with foam tape.

For the background I used Gina K Designs Thick Brush stencil and Wow Embossing Powder Sunset Boulevard. I trimmed the top and bottom of the embossed panel so you could see the grey card base.

Last I added the embossed panel and then the colored kitties! I love how sparkly this turned out!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stop by the CLC blog to see a ton of coffee inspiration and link up your project for your chance to win!!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop- Card 2

 Hello!!

The Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop is in full swing and I hope everyone is laying along and checking out all the coffee inspiration!! I've spent the weekend in the craft room and will have several cards to share over the next week!

Today I have a gift card holder to share featuring Sponsor Catherine Pooler products. I recently picked up the Gift Card To Go die along with some fall stamp sets. I decided to make a fall cocoa gift card holder, with winter pattern paper! I used Feeling Chilling pattern paper and matching CP inks!

I started by using the die to cut a pattern and then again from some white card stock. I used grey copic markers to shade the top lid part of the cup. Then I trimmed the cardstock so all I had was the white lip. I adhered this lid to the pattern paper cup.

Then I cut the cup wrap from white card stock and then used one of the CP inks and an ink blending tool to ink up the wrap.

Next, I used the Pumpkin Season stamp set and various CP inks. I stamped and fussy cut a pumpkin, a few leaves and acorns and one of the coffee cups from the set. I arranged them on the wrap and stamped the sentiment bring on the cocoa.

You can see in the picture below that I used a Michael's gift card in the gift card slots and the wrap fits nicely over it. I can see making a few of these for Christmas gift cards!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to stop by the CLC blog for tons of coffee inspiration and to link up your coffee themed projects!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

 Hello!

Welcome to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!!! The most exciting time of the year, right??!! Haha!! Make sure to check out the CLC blog for all the details, you can link up your Fall/Winter for your chance to win one of the many giveaways from our fabulous sponsors!! Make sure stop by our sponsors, many will be sharing a project, too! And of course hop along over the next week and see all the projects everyone is linking up!! Lots of inspiration to be had!!

My first card for the hop features new Sponsor Journals for Life!! They have a few coffee themed products so make sure to check them out!! I recently picked up the Fall Friends bundle and made my card with the stamps and pattern paper. The bundle also has stickers and ephemera, so lots to play with!!

I started by stamping the bunny images, all of them and then using Copic colors that matched the pattern papers. I also stamped the coffee cup from the the stamp set and colored it and fussy cut them out with sharp scissors. Then I adhered the coffee cup to one of the bunnies. The rest I will use later on other cards.

Next, I picked out a few pattern papers and cut some strips. I adhered them to the card, some a little crooked on purpose. From my card stock stash found a green that matched and cut it into a thick strip.

I stamped the Hello Fall sentiment on side and then adhered the strip to the card with foam tape. Then I adhered the bunny. I though the card still needed something, so I picked a few Catherine Pooler inks that matched the card stock and stamped the solid leaf stamps. Fussy cut those out and adhered scattered them around my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stop by the CLC blog and link up your fall or winter project for your chance to win a prize from Journals for Life and many more sponsors!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Graciellie Designs - Coffee

I used one of the coffee images and added it to a Word document and made it big!! Then I added one of the sentiments to the middle of the coffee cup. Printed it out and colored it with copics.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Graciellie Designs - Coffee

Then I fussy cut the image out and then I decided to use some washi tape to make my my background. I have lots of washi tape that I don't use that often!! LOL!!! I picked out a couple purple and gold tapes of different widths and just added them to a white panel.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Graciellie Designs - Coffee

The washi tape is so easy, I used my lined glass mat to make the tape straight and hold my panel in place. Then I gently pulled up the panel and wrapped the washi tape ends around the edge to the back of the panel. And wa-la a super easy background!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Graciellie Designs - Coffee

I added my colored image to the panel with foam tape and then adhered the panel to a white card base. Since some of the washi tape was glittery I decided any enamel dots or sequins would be overkill!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I'll me back later today with my last card!!

For some reason I had issues trying do a background for this card, maybe because of the colors I colored it. It was a few days later that I came across a scrap of gold glitter card stock, and after trying it with a blue card base I new that it was just right for the image.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Graciellie Designs - Coffee

I trimmed the glitter card stock a little and then adhered it to the blue card base. Then I added the colored image with foam tape.
