Hello and Happy Friday!!!
I'm sharing my last card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!! Make sure to get yours liked up today to have a chance at some great crafty goodies!! My card features 3 sponsors of the hop: Hero Arts, Newton's Nook and Wow Embossing Powders!!
I started with the Bookcase stamp from Hero Arts, stamping it with versamark ink on red card stock. Then I used Wow Embossing powder Metallic Gold Rich, super fine. I added Spectrum Noir Red Berry Sparkle Pen to some areas of the books. It's really hard to see, but in person its sparkles nicely with the gold embossing!
Next, I stamped the super cut sloth in a coffee cup from Newton's Nook Slothy Coffee set on green pattern paper I pulled from Echo Park Paper Holly Jolly Christmas pad. I embossed it with the same color as the bookcase.
I also stamped the sloth again on white card stock. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the sloth. Then I fuss cut him out and adhered it to the green sloth and then fussy cut the whole sloth and coffee cup out. I used the same red sparkle pen to color stripes on the coffee cup.
For the sentiment I die cut a circle die and stamped the sentiment in the center. From Art Impressions Place Card Pal die set I cut some holly berries and leaves.
To finish I wrapped the bookcase panel with black twine and then added the sloth coffee cup, sentiment and holly to the panel with foam tape. Last I adhered the panel to the same green pattern paper and then added that to a card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Crafter's Companion on HSN Today!
Hello!
This is my second post, click here for my Art Impressions post!
Have you been watching for Crafter's Companion on HSN?? There is something for everyone! Below is the schedule make sure you check it out!!
Today, I'm featuring one of the Create a Card die, Snow Crystal! I made a card set with the die, creating a few different versions of stain glass! I used the die with black card stock and Candy Red, Silver Starlight, and White Pearl Shimmer Cardstock.
The die measures about 5 x 5 with the border around the snowflake, so I made card bases that size from white card stock. Then I adhered the snowflakes to the card bases! I used Stick It (available at Crafter's Companion!) but you can use any method you have!
Then I pulled out some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens and colored them!! I used Black, Silver, Gold, Fig, Starry Sky, Macoroon, Hearthside, Red Berry and Smoked Quartz. A little tip for you, be careful when applying the pens to the shimmer cardstock snowflakes, the ink will stain the card stock!
The Sparkle Pens have so much shimmer and you can play around with the different colors combinations!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Make sure you stop by HSN and pick up some great new crafty goodies!!

Spectrum Noir Coloring in Grey Tones
Hello!
Today I'm sharing a card I made featuring one of the new Crafter's Companion Colorista Background Stamps. There are four different backgrounds, for my card I used Loved with Butterflies.
I started by stamping the background on Crafter's Companion Premium Ultra Smooth white cardstock. Then I went to town coloring, LOL!!! It takes a few days working on it, but I really love how it turned out! I went with gray tones in coloring this, no color what so ever!!! I used IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6, IG8, IG10. I also used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen, Onyx Black to add just a touch of sparkle!!
Next, I trimmed a piece of vellum and then white heat embossed a sentiment. I used Special Friend from Everyday with Barkley.
I trimmed the background to fit a card base and then wrapped the vellum around the panel adhering it on the back side. Then I just added the panel to a white card base. Very easy way to finish and show off your coloring!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Crafter's Companion & Spectrum Noir on HSN TODAY!!
Hello!!
I'm stopping today as a reminder that Crafter's Companion & Spectrum Noir are on HSN TODAY!!! The new Colorista line is available along with lots of other great products!!
First here is the schedule (subject to change)!
My card today features one of the new Die'sire Create A Card dies! When I saw this die I new exactly what I wanted to do with it!! Basically, I thought it would make for a great stain glass inspired card and I was right! I love how it turned out!!
I started with a panel of black cardstock and I used the angel die on the panel. The set also comes with dies for the outside of the images, but I didn't need it for this card but it's nice to have the option!!
Next, I ran the panel through my sticker maker. Then I carefully added the angel to a white card base. Then all I had to do was color each area with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens!! I used Red Berry, Blue Topaz, Emerald Green, Holly Leaf, Spun Gold, Rose Quartz, Hearthside, Amethyst, Fig, Moonstone, Pink Champagne, Smoked Quartz, Aquamarine, Macaroon.
The card needed a sentiment but I wanted to keep it simple so heat embossed the sentiment in white on vellum. Then I trimmed it, notched one end and added it to the card with a staple!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will check out HSN today, there are tons of stamps, dies and the new Colorista collection for adult coloring!!

Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens and Embossing Paste
Hello!
I have a little peek today of a new die from Crafter's Companion that will be available tomorrow on HSN!! Well, I actually didn't use the actual die cut on my card instead I used it as a stencil.
First, I used the Die'sire Create a Card Garden Party die and just cut it from some card stock. With some washi tape to hold it in place, I put the die cut over a white card base.
Next I mixed up some white embossing paste with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen - Soft Jade. The more pen ink you add, the darker the color will be. With a pallet knife I added the embossing paste to my die cut stencil. I scraped up the excess and carefully peeled way the die cut and threw it away. To make your 'stencil' reusable, use the die with a sheet of stencil material!
I'd like to note that this was the first time I have added SN's Sparkle Pens to embossing paste. The paste dilutes the pen ink so there really wasn't much sparkle. But, next time I'm going to try adding the clear sparkle pen and another color to see if enough of the clear will make the paste sparkle!! So stay tuned!!
While the embossing paste was drying, I stamped several of the flower from Sheena Douglass A Taste of India, Mandala and Henna stamp sets. I used Sparkle Pens Harvest Moon, Rose Quartz, Soft Jade and Fig to color the flowers. Then I used some sharp scissors to fussy cut out the flowers and leafs.
With liquid adhesive I added the flowers to my card and added a few white sequins. From the Kimono - Lotus Flower set I used a Friends sentiment and stamped it above the dried embossing paste.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you will stop by HSN this Tuesday and check out all the great new products that will be available from Crafter's Companion!!

Art Impressions Challenge 190
Hello!
There is still time to play along with Art Impressions Challenge 190! The theme is Glitter and Shimmer!! And I have a lot of shimmer with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens I used to color the super cute Wildly Cute Set.
I am also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. The theme is Let's Go Wild, my sentiment is perfect for this theme!! :)
I started by stamping the adorable giraffe on watercolor paper with brown ink. Then I used Sparkle Pens and some water to layer the color on. I used Biscuit, Smoked Quartz, and Starry Sky. I used a bit of water to get a watercolor look with the giraffe. Also for some reason, the brown ink reacted with the Smoked Quartz, but I liked the messy look it gave so I just went with it!!!
While the giraffe was drying I pulled out some cute baby pattern paper and die cut it with a rectangle die. I used the Clear Sparkle Pen to coat the pattern paper. I kept it light because the paper is thin. I wrapped the panel with twine and tied it in a bow and then added the panel to a white card base.
From white card stock I cut a small banner and stamped the Wildly Cute sentiment. I fussy cut the giraffe out and added him and the sentiment with foam tape.
Super cute huh? ;) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will play along with as at the Art Impressions Challenge!!

Thinking of You
Hello there!!
This is my second post today, click here if you are looking for my Art Impressions post!
Crafter's Companion has some NEW awesome Die'sire Card Base Dies!! These are great for shaped card base in several different sizes!! You don't have to use them as cards either! I'll have a project later in the week that shows a non-card way to use these dies!
But my card today is typical card using these dies!! These are so nice that you can even use the smaller dies to mat your image! I started by using the biggest die, which is just under 6 x 6 and all you have to do is take a piece of card stock and score it in half. With a small piece of washi tape adhere the die so the cutting break is just above the scored edge. Then just run it through your die cutting machine and wa-la a card base!!
I ran the die through the machine again with some orange polka-dot pattern paper and adhered that to my white card base. I just trimmed off the top part. To get a layered or mat piece I just cut some watercolor card stock with a smaller die. One side with not cut because this is a card base die, to fix this I turned the cut piece around, fit it in the die and just die cut that little bit so now you have a rounded piece all the way around. To make the card stand up I did have to trim off a little off the bottom.
Next, I squiggled some Spectrum Noir Aqua Marker - Orange on a clear block. A quick spritz of water and I just pressed my watercolor piece in the ink. I then set it aside to dry.
With the Sheena Douglass Perfect Partners - Lily I stamped the Lily and leaves on watercolor card stock and then used the matching die to cut them out. Next, I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils to color the Lily's and leaves. With a little water, you can blend the pencils for a nice water color look! I used Strawberry, Carrot, Persimmon, Papaya, Pineapple, Oregano, Spruce, Pesto Green.
With some liquid adhesive, I adhered all the lily and leave layers. Next, I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment on the watercolor piece and added it to my card base. Last I adhered the lily to the card. For a little sparkle, I added some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen to the lily.

Be Cool
Hello!
I'm popping in with a card I made for Unity's Show and Tell Challenge. It's the Itty Bitty Challenge and I had one on my desk so I figured no time like the present to use it!!!
I stamped the cute owl from the Be Cool & Be Mine Itty Bitty set on some water color paper, then I used Distress Markers to color her. I also stamped her on some pattern paper and fussy cut out the glasses and then adhered them to my colored image. Next I fussy cut out the owl and then used a Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to add a little sparkle to the heart's on her glasses.
Next I found some cute Popsicle pattern paper that I thought would be perfect with the Be Cool part of the sentiment. I cut it out with a stitched rectangle. From the same collection I found a journal card that had a wood frame and said smile. I trimmed off the pattern paper it had around the frame and then rounded the corners.
Then I masked off the Be Mine part of the stamp and just stamped the Be Cool on the framed journal square. I added the owl with foam tape and then wrapped some twine around it and tied it in a bow.
From the sticker sheet in the collection I found two little Popsicles and I added them to the journal frame with foam tape. I added the frame to the card with foam tape and last I added a little more Clear Sparkle Pen to the Popsicles on the pattern paper.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello You
Hi there!!
I'm stopping by with a card I made for Lawnscaping Challenge - #130 Sparkle It Up! For my sparkle I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens for my background!!! It's a lot more sparkly in person then in my photo below, these pens pack a LOT of sparkle!!!
I started by die cutting the stitched shape from watercoloring paper. With a big paint brush I added water to the shape and then I added Ocean Waves and Sage to the panel. Unintentionally I gave the Sage pen a squeeze and a big glob of sparkly ink came out on my panel. At first I was like oh &#*@, but then with a little water I spread it round and it turned out ok! I added a little Ocean Waves here and there and blended it in with the Sage. When it was all dry, I flicked water droplets over it.
While the panel was drying I stamped and colored the Starfishes and Jelly Fishes. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color them up! I used CT1, CT3, CT4, GB5, OR1, PL1, PL2, PP1, PP3, PP5. Then I fussy cut them out.
After the panel was totally dry from the water droplets I punch a whole in the top to make it into a tag. Then I stamped the Hello You sentiment in versamark and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Then I went digging around my desk, I had some Lawn Fawn twine that came wrapped around a purchase that I was sure would match and sure enough, once I found it, it was perfect!! I cut 3 smallish lengths and thread them all through the hole at the top of the tag. Then with another longer length, tied a bow around the tails of the twine. Last I added the tag to a white card base with foam tape!
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back later this afternoon with a card featuring new stamps from Crafter's Companion!!

Crafter's Companion has a new release from Sara Davies Signature Collection called Love & Romance. Perfect for cards and projects for love, anniversaries, weddings etc. The collection is full of stamps, embossing folders, dies and pattern paper pads!!
Today my card features the 6 x 6 pattern paper pad and the Decorative Heart die. I cut the Chevron pattern and adhered it to a white card base.
I cut the heart die from Crafter's Companion's Kraft card stock. Then I used the Hearthside Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to color the hearts on the heart. I added the heart to my card base a little off center and trimmed of the over hang.
On a strip of white card stock I stamped a sentiment from Bebunni Sweet as Rose stamp set. I stamped it with brown ink and then added the strip to my card with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Dana
