Today I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a card featuring the Par-Tee Golfers stamp set! Its a great set for the golf lovers in the family!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Par-Tee Golfers
I started by stamping and color the lady golfer, gold ball, and flag. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them! I used: AB1, AB2, AB3, BG2, BG4, BG7, BO2, BO4, GY1. Then I fussy cut each image out.

From my stash of leftovers I found this strip of green splattered paper. I figured it would work for my 'grass' and at the same time use up something left on my desk! I have lots of leftovers that don't get used as often as they should!!

I added the strip to a gray card base and then stamped the Wanna Play Around? sentiment to the bottom right corner. Last I added the images with foam tape.

Thinking of You

Hello!

I'm stopping by with another card I made just for fun!! I made it for PinkFresh Studio August Challenge!! The challenge includes a color combo and/or theme: Summer!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Fruitastic

Since the theme is summer I mainly used PinkFresh's Fruitastic stamp set. I matched the colors as best as I could with my Papertrey Ink inks, I used Harvest Gold, Lavender Moon, New Leaf and Spring Rain. I stamped the fruit on watercolor cardstock that was textured, getting what I think is a cool look to the fruit.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Fruitastic

I used one of the smaller, rounder fruits as blueberries rather than the apple or peach that it should be. For the blueberries, I fussy cut them out, the other fruit I used the matching dies to cut them out.

From my stash I found some black and gold foil pattern paper, this takes care of the black and gold foil part of the color combo!! I trimmed it down 1/4 and adhered it to a white card base.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Fruitastic

On a strip of white cardstock, I stamped the Thinking of You from the Tealightful Day stamp set.  I added it to the card and then adhered the fruit with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!!

The new Stay Strong set is awesome!! Great coffee image, lots of sentiments and even a pretty flower!! In fact, I couldn't just make one card!! I made two!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

For both cards, I used the digi and adjust the sizes. The first card features the coffee up! So cute!! I printed it out on watercolor cardstock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Pencils to color it. The colors I used were Bamboo, Gun Metal, Bright Green, Red Berry, Claret, Umber. When the watercoloring was done I fussy cut it out.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

I took a panel of watercolor and used a sparkley gold watercolors. The little pot does not have a brand name and I've had it forever. Its called Golden Nugget and with a little water, you get a nice transparent sparkly coverage. When it was dry I used a Simon Says Stamp tiny heart stencil and some Faber Castell Texture Gold Paste over the gold watercolor.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

When that was dry I cut it down a bit and added it to some mint pattern paper. I added the sentiment near the top and then added the coffee cup with foam tape.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

For my second card, I used just the flower, adjusting the size so it was fairly large. I used the Spectrum Noir Aqua Pencils to color it too!! I used Pineapple, Iris, Aubergine, Bottle Green, Spruce. When it was dry I fussy cut it out.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

Next, I used Hero Arts Ombre Mermaid ink pad and dragged it once across some watercolor cardstock. It didn't fill the panel, so I moved the paper and did another drag to fill the panel. From some aqua cardstock, I used a fancy edge die. I added this edge cut out to a navy blue card base.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Graciellie Designs

Then I added the watercolor panel on top, it covered up some of the fancy edge, but enough still shows. Then I added the flower and scattered a few sequins around it.

Thanks for stopping by!! Make sure to leave a comment for your chance to win!! Check out the CLC blog for a list of all the designers!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Halloween Magic Treat Box - No Glue Foldable Box

I was a rebel and made a treat box, instead of a treat bag!! Hahaha!! I made the box from this video: No Glue Foldable Box. It's really easy to make, I used a purple polka dot cardstock to make the box.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Halloween Magic Treat Box - No Glue Foldable Box

Then I used some Authentique pattern papers to dress up the front of the box. I layered a couple different patterns and a solid orange. I stamped the No Tricks, Just Treats sentiment on white cardstock and then notched both ends.

Hello!!!

I'm on the Art Impressions blogs with a card that features the Cat Mouthful Stamp Set! There are so many options with these sets as they come with s.everal accessories to added to your Mouthful!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Cat Mouthful

I started with some paper strips from We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard 6 x 6 collection. At first, I wasn't sure how I wanted to use them, so I kind of fanned them out on my desk and I really liked how it looked!! So I pulled out a card base and started layering the strips when I was happy I adhered them down.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Cat Mouthful

I stamped and colored the cat image, party hat, and donut. I used my Spectrum Noir markers: AB1, AB3, AB5, AP1, AP4, AP5, BG1, BG3, BG5, DR1, DR3, DR4, RB1, RB3, RB4, TB2, TB3, TB4.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Cat Mouthful

I fussy cut out the flower then used the dies to cut the hand and mouth. I also used the matching dies for the hat and donut. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment. Before I adhered the cat I added a couple thin strips of gray cardstock.

You Are Mermazing

Hello!!

I'm stopping by with a card I made for fun! The past couple months have been busy with DT stuff and school assignments! In between I've been playing with some goodies I got with a gift card and for my birthday! This week I'm taking a break, I'm not making a single card!! Just going to do some coloring for some future DT cards, but that's it just some therapeutic coloring!! All gearing up for another semester (I'm almost done, I'll have my degree by May!! yay!!)
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Picket Fence Studios - Distress Ink Markers Coloring

My card features the Picket Fence Studio's Little Coral Girl stamp set!! I love this mermaid set!! I stamped the images on watercolor cardstock and then used my Distress Ink Markers to color everything. Then I fussy cut it all out.

For my background I used Hero Arts Wave & Sea Confetti die, cutting it out from blue cardstock. Then I used a watermark pen and added clear glitter embossing powder to some of the wave lines. You can see the sparkle when the card is moved back and forth!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Picket Fence Studios - Distress Ink Markers Coloring

I added the die cut panel to a dark blue card base. From the same dark blue, I white heat embossed the You Are Mermazing sentiment. I cut down the panel to a strip and added it to the card.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Picket Fence Studios - Distress Ink Markers Coloring

Then I arranged the mermaid, coral, and fish on the card and when happy adhered them down. I'm always tempted to added enamel dots or sequins, but this time I resisted since I had a little sparkle on the background!

Hello!!

I'm stopping by with a card I made with some new products coming to HSN this coming Wednesday! Crafter's Companion has a TON of great new products available that day!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion - Embossing Folder

My card today features Christmas Sentimental 2, which are new word dies! I also used a snowflake embossing folder, a Sara Davies Signature Collection: Winter Wonderland - Snow Crystal. With CC's watercolor cardstock I ran the folder through my Gemini.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion - Embossing Folder

Then I used the new Spectrum Noir Inkpads to color the embossed panel, Lagoon, Parakeet, Oasis. I used the lightest color in the middle and darker at the end. Then I splattered some water over the panel. I let it sit for a while before blighting it away.
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion - Embossing Folder

Next, I used the darkest color to ink up a scrap paper, then I used the Let It Snow outline die. From black cardstock, I cut the actual word die and added it to the outline.

Art Impressions Challenge #238 Card & Envelope

Hello!!

It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #238 - Card & Envelope! AI also has 2 stamp sets now available at Hobby Lobby, Reel Great Guys, and Sring Chicken. The challenge is easy, make a card and matching envelope!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

My card features the Reel Great Guys stamp set. I made this with a guy in mind so I kept it simple!! I stamped part of the fishing guy and the dog in the intertube on some watercolor cardstock. Then I stamped the Birthday Fishes sign to the end of the fishing pole. On the envelope, I stamped the bucket of fish and the single fish.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Next, I used my Distress Markers to color everything! And yes I even used them to color the envelope, it needed a lot less water since it isn't watercolor paper! I trimmed my panel and added it to a blue card base.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions

Since this is a masculine card, I kept the card and envelope basic with no added embellishments!!

Dress Up Birthday

Hello!!

I'm popping in with a card I made a couple weeks ago for fun! I needed a break from DT work and found A Blog Named Hero's blog challenge and decided to play along. The challenge is birthday cards!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Hero Arts Dress Up

I hadn't inked up Hero Arts Dress Up stamp set yet and it seemed like the perfect time to do so!! In fact, as I was making this card I went ahead and used made a few more similar card. The set has two girls with a few different faces and three skirts. Eventually, I hope to get around to sharing the other cards!!

I did a little bit of watercolor smooshing on a big piece of watercolor card stock. I used Marvy #28 English Rose for the pink color. I used one of the skirt dies once the panel was dry.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Hero Arts Dress Up

Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut one of the girls. I also added a little flower from the set to her skirt. I adhered her to a pink rectangle with foam tape, then layered it on some kraft cardstock. Then finally onto a white card base. Since I ended up doing up the other images and skirts on the other cards, I kept the layout basic! Last I stamped the have a Beautiful Birthday below the pink rectangle!!
