Bee Happy

Hi!

I am trying to use up these random do-dad's (and boy do i have a lot!) and today i pulled out an already die cut oval to use. It went perfect with The Alley Way's new Bee Sweet stamp set! I also made this card for Seize the Sketch #17 (flipping it on its side).

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

It all started with a die cut oval that already had Happy die cut out of the center. I stamped the Bee sentiment just above the Happy. Then i stamped the start background from Star of the Show with watermark ink and embossed it with orange embossing powder. I rounded the corners and adhered it to my card base.

Next i stamped 3 small bees and colored them with distress markers, then cut them out. I backed my happy oval with orange card stock and trimmed off the excess. I adhered it to my card base with foam dots. Last i added the bees with foam dots.

Sweet Babee

Hey there!!

I have a sweet babee card to share today!! Yep, you see that right babee - not baby, but babee!!! We are all about the bee's this month at The Alley Way Stamps!! You will want to check these sets out! There are so many possibilities!!

I made this card for The Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! I went with baby part of the challenge (not the colors or booties) and a girl baby or should i say a girl babee!! LOL!

I am also cleaned off my craft desk and put all my stray do-dads and extra embellishments and such all in a plastic dish. I am bound and determined to use up all these extra do-dads!! So i found a pink label, and two red hearts to use on my card.

I started with red card stock and stamped the new (and amazing) star background, Star of the Show in watermark ink. Then i added some white perfect pearls for some shimmer! I stamped the sentiment Sweet Babee on the label and added it to my card base.

Next i stamped (with some masking) the bee, then colored her in. I also stamped the little bee diaper on another label, cut that out and adhered it to the baby bee. I also added some glitter glue to the winds, but you can't really see it in my photos.

Last i added the hearts and the baby bee to the card base and added some red enamel dots!

So glad you stopped by! Tomorrow The Alley Way Stamps is having a special Video Blog Hop! Make sure you stop by to learn some techniques!! (and a little bee (hehe) told me there is a giveaway!!)

Just A Note

Hey there!!

So this past week has been very busy and stressful for me and Friday i needed a break! So i went to the craft room and made a card! It had to be a quick one as dinner was only 30 minutes away or so. For my inspiration i turned to Taheerah's Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge #11 (or in my case the Friday night stress blues!! haha!!) Here is the photo inspiration:

I was going my memory, but i remembered lots of frames plus the colors pink, yellow and blue. I knew i had a stamp set with a couple of frames so i figured i start with that!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

I stamped the frames on various color card stock, then cut them out. I arranged them in my card base, moving them around until i liked there placement. Then i adhered them to the card base.

Next i used a circle Just a Note sentiment and stamped it in the middle of one of the pink frames. Last i added 3 black enamel dots to tie in with the circle sentiment.  See easy and quick, done in under 30 minutes!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!

Be Inspired Challenge #51

Hiya!!

The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge just got better!! You now have 4 weeks to complete a challenge, the winner wins TWO stamps AND the winner gets to be a Guest Designer for a future Be Inspired Challenge!! Whoo Hoo!!! It the second week in the new challenge, so you still have plenty of time to play along! Here is the inspiration photo:

Aren't this poka-dot cloths pins so cute!! For my card i went a little elegant! To start i used a red card base and placed a poka-dot stencil over it. I used white pigment ink to color the poka-dots. When the dots dried they look more pink then white! I added a red strip of card stock across my cardbase.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

Next i die cut a flower die in red and a dark green. I used some distress ink to ink up the edges of the flower. I added the dark green (minus the flowers) to my red die cut. So the stems and seed pods are green and the flowers are red! I adhered the flowers to my card base with foam dots.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

Then i die cut a little tag and stamped the Love you Lots from The Alley Way Stamps Flower Doodles stamp set! I added a tiny wood cloths pen to the top of the tag and glued it to my card base.

I just love how this turned out! Its a lot of red, but the pinkish poka-dots really help to break up the red!!

Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow i'll be back with a video featuring aSketch Technique with stencils!

Happy Easter!

Hello!

Today i have a cute little Easter card to share with you! It has nice bright, spring colors, colors that i am hoping to see now that spring is surely around the corner!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps
I started with a cream card base and added thin wood tape along the bottom (i flipped the card on its side). Next i die cut some cute little Easter eggs from spring like pattern papers, then stamped the matching stamp with black ink.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps

Next i die cut a few tiny flowers from white felt and added a little bit of glitter glue to the flower centers. I adhered the eggs to the card with foam dots and then added the flowers to the card! Last i stamped the Happy Easter sentiment.

Kind of simple and sweet! Thanks for stopping by!!
