Art Impressions Challenge #224
Hello!
It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #224 - Feel the Love! AI has new Mansion stamps and Valentine stamps and dies!!
My card features the Valentine Mansion and of course the Holiday Mansion set. Both come with matching dies so it makes these cards easy and customable. I started by stamping all the images on watercolor cardstock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua pencils and watercolor brush to color all the images. With the matching dies I cut everything out, the house just needed some simple fussy cutting!
I picked out some pattern paper from We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard for the background and a different yellowish pattern for the ground.
For the Mansion I added it to white cardstock and trimmed around it, in hind sight I would have used foam tape so I could better add images to the windows, like I wanted but you live and learn!! LOL!!
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out adding it, the Mansion and mailbox to the card. Kept it simple since you can open the doors to see the bear and heart flowers.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you stop by the AI blog and play along for your chance to win some goodies!!

Life Would Be....
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a card featuring the Elephant Pop Card stamp set! These sets are sooo fun!! A great interactive card anyone would want to receive!
I started by stamping all the pieces, don't forget to stamp the ears twice!! Then I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color everything up. I used AG1, AG3, AG5, AP1, AP3, AP4, DP1, DP3, DP4, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6. After I used the matching dies to cut everything out.
I'm not going to go into the details on how I assembled everything. You can see this great video that Kate from Art Impression did, it explains everything a lot better then I could!!
I created a window on the card front so you can see the elephant peeking through. First I added a pattern paper to the front and used a rectangle die to cut the window. Then I used a different pattern paper and two dies to create a frame. Then I added the frame to the front.
From white cardstock, I die cut a small rectangle and stamped the sentiment. I added it to the card at the bottom of the window.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Nuts About You
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today! It's getting closer to February and that means Valentine's!! AI's Nut's About You stamp set is perfect for valentines or anytime you need a love themed card!!
I started by stamping the squirrel and nets along with the Nuts About You sentiment. With my Spectrum Noir markers, I color the image and then fussy cut it out. I used dr1, EB1, EB2, EB5, EB6, TN9.
From some Crate Paper paper pad Kiss Kiss, I die cut a heart out of a text pattern, I also trimmed a heart pattern for my card base. I added the heart pattern and then the text heart dies to card base. From kraft, I trimmed a strip and added it to the card with foam tape.
I added the squirrel and nuts so it looks like he is sitting on the kraft. With a small heart, I die cut the sentiment and added it to with foam tape. Last I added some wood dots.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Art Impressions Challenge #223 - Anything Goes
Hello!
It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #223! Anything goes so no excuses!! February is right around the corner so I thought a Valentine card is appropriate!
I used the Windows to the World Valentine Mail, stamping it on watercolor paper. Then I used Distress Markers to watercolor the image.
From pattern paper, I die cut a big heart. To the right, I stamped Happy Valentine's Day from the In The Air set. Then I trimmed the window panel to fit and adhere it to the card base.
The heart panel is added over the window and adhered with foam tape. I also added a small twine bow and heart sticker to the right edge of the heart window.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you stop by the Art Impressions blog and play along for your chance to win some goodies!!

Cold Noses Warm Hearts
Hello!
Happy New Year!!! I'm on the Art Impressions blog today! Since it's so cold out I thought this card was fitting for this time of year. My card features the snow couple from Merriest Christmas.
I started by stamping the couple and then using my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. I used AG1, AG3, AP1, AP2, AP3, BT7, BO4, BT9, CR8, CR10, EB5, EB6, GY1, GY2, IG2, IG6, IG9, RB1, RB2, RB3. When I was done coloring cut the image out with a circle die.
Next, I stamped the sentiment next to the light post. From my stash, I found some wooden snowflakes and used Marvy Snow Maker for the first time! It is soo cool! You color the snowflake or image with the white ink (but not too much!), then hit it with a heat gun!! It just poofs up!
On some grey cardstock, I stamped and embossed the snowflake that is on the stamp set. I used some glitter embossing powder so the snowflakes have a nice sparkle to them!
Last I added the stamped circle to the card base with foam tape. Then I added the snowflakes. Oh and can't forget to round the corners!
Thanks for stopping by!!
