Hello!!

How is everyone? I have been super busy with chemistry and i had a table at a local craft show and had lots to do to get ready for it! I'm way behind in commenting, so i just checked out every one's blog and cleaned out my Bloglovin' so i could start fresh! Thank you for stopping by and for all your comments, its very appreciated!!

I'm on The Alley Way Stamps blog today, sharing a card featuring the new Mistletoe Kisses stamp set. I found a die cut rectangle that i had colored the edge somehow, way back when!! It is a perfect color for a winter card!!

I stamped the little snowman on the rectangle and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color him. Next i stamped the sentiment from the Waddle Pals set, below the snowman.

This card is pretty simple, since i used a rectangle already cut and colored. I had some snowflake embellishment already out, so i added it to the bottom corner of the rectangle. Last i just added the rectangle to a white card base with foam tape!!

I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with a Halloween card featuring the new Pumpkin Spinner! I just love the little kitty peek out of the pumpkin!

I started with some watercolor paper and stamped both the front and back of the spinner. Then i used my distress markers to color them. I fussy cut them out and ran them through my sticker machine. I added some white thread in between the front and back.

For the background i did the smooching technique, only this time i did each color separately, rather then fill my big clear block with a few colors and add water (why i didn;t think to do this before, i don't know!!). Once the background was dry i die cut a circle from it and a white card base. 

I added adhesive to the card base and added the sinner (make sure it spins ok!), then i adhered the watercolor panel over the white card base. Next i cut a black circle border and adhered it to the circle. 

For the inside i adhered a piece of black card stock. On a strip of white card stock i stamped the sentiment. Before adhering the strip i cut one end, curved so you couldn;t see it from the front.

Hiya!!

Today i'm on The Alley Way Stamps blog with a card for you showing off the new Sweet Thing stamp set. I paired it with a flower die and some pearls to make an elegant card.

I started by stamping the big Hello in versamark ink, then heat embossing it with white embossing powder. When i did it, the sentiment was so big that the embossing was a little pot-marked. To make it solid, i used my versamark pen to color in the work and add more embossing powder. This filled out the the word nicely!!

Next i die cut a flower from watercolor paper and used my Spectrum Aqua markers to color them. To add a little sparkle i added some Wink of Stella to the flowers.

I added the flowers to my card with foam tape, i bent the one flower a little bit so it was more over the Hello. Last i added some pearls.

I'm also on The Alley Way Stamps blog, sharing a card featuring one of the new October stamps sets, Waddle Pals!

I started by stamping the penguin that looks like he is jumping up, i colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers and then fussy cut him out. Then i stamp the tiny little bow tie, colored it and cut it out too.

From my stash i found some chipboard stickers that had a winter/snowflake/blue theme. I added some ribbon to the tag, then adhered the tag to a black card base. Across the front of the card i added a chipboard sticker strip, then added the penguin on top of it, like he is jumping up from the strip.

I added a chipboard flower to the bottom corner of the tag. Then i stamped the Have an Ice Day to the tag, such a cute sentiment!

Hello and Welcome!!!

Today i am hopping participating in an super fun Art Impressions Reunion Blog Hop!! We have the current and past AI design teams, all showing off NEW spinners!! My card features the new Mouse Spinner and matching die!! I have a tutorial on how i made this card over on the AI blog, so make sure you stop by for all the details!!

I decided to do a little paper peicing with the ornament and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the mouse. To hang the spinner i used white floss and a double sided adhesive sheet to adhere the front and back of the spinner together (details in my tutorial on the AI blog!!).

I used some festive Christmas pattern paper to cover the front of my card base and some dark green on the inside of the card. The green really helps the spinner pop!!

For the sentiment, i stamped and embossed it on a red paper strip and added it to the bottom of my oval and card base before i added the pattern paper! Last i added a couple green embellishments next to the sentiment to help draw the eye down!

And a hop wouldn;t be complete with out a giveaway!!

Today i'm sharing a card that features just one of the many dies being featured on HSN. I made a similar card that you can see here.

This card is very similar, i used a different die from the Edge'able Christmas Only Words Collection called Jingle Bells. I cut it out of some Crafter's Companion Simmering Pearl White and placed it over a CC Kraft card base.

I used Sheena's A Little Bit Festive Christmas Visitors stamp set on CC's water color card stock. Then i used Spectrum Aqua markers to color the images. A little fussy cutting and then i added some twine and tiny bells around the handle

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #165

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! The challenge is a photo inspiration!

Our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations and i used two digi stamps they provided to the design team! I started by printing the framed pumpkin and sentiment on some white card stock.

Next i colored the framed pumpkin with my Spectrum Noir markers, then cut around the frame. I also trimmed the sentiment to a strip.

To follow the photo i cut some thin strips from red, green, blue, purple and orange card stock. Then i adhered them too a 5.5 inch square card. Next i cut a thick strip of black card stock adding it to my card on top of of the colored strips. Bellow that i added the sentiment strip.

Last i just adhered the framed pumpkin on top of the black strip. I thought about adding sequins or enamel dots, but finally decided that the stripes made the card busy enough!!
