My card features the Clear Stamp set Reindeer that you can find at your local Micheal's. I started by stamping the lady with reindeer antlers and colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. Then i fussy cut her out.

Next i used a whole bunch of these strip stickers and added them to a white card base at an angle. I cut a strip of white card stock and stamped the Be Merry Sentiment. This was placed across the card.

Then i used two oval dies to make an oval frame from black card stock. I placed my reindeer lady behind the oval, using liquid glue to make adhere her and then just rimmed off her legs that were too long for the oval.

I placed her on my card back with foam tape and last added a few black enamel dots.

Not One to Brag

Hello!

The current challenge over at Art Impressions is going into the second week, and you have plenty of time to play with us!! The challenge is a New Years or Resolution themed card! The Design Team is featuring new Ai People stamps, and they are soooo funny!!

My card features the One to Brad set! I stamped the lady eating the cake on white card stock and since actually made this card this past summer i used Copic markers to color her. Then i fussy cut her out and set her aside to work on the background.

For the background i used distress markers ink and small piece of acetate to smoosh the ink onto a panel of watercolor paper. While it was drying i die cut the long fancy rectangle from white card stock, then stamped the sentiment at the top of the rectangle.

When the background was dry i added the long fancy rectangle to the background with foam tape. I added the cake lady on top of the rectangle and last added a few glitter enamel dots to my card!

Holiday Cheers to You

Hello!

I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a card featuring one of the new Christmas 2015 stamp sets, Cheers to You. Who doesn't love some wine with their Christmas outfit!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started by stamping the sassy Christmas lady on some watercolor paper. Then i used my distress markers to color her. ( I just love her jingle bell earrings!!) Next i trimmed off the top part of the panel, fussy cutting around the Christmas lady.

Then i stamped the sentiment next to her. I set aside the panel to get the rest of the card ready! From some flowery Christmas paper i die cut a stitched rectangle, i added this to a white card base.

Next i cut a stitched black oval and added it to my card base where my Christmas Lady will be, other white she gets lots against the pattern paper. I added the Lady to the card with foam tape and last i added a few sequins across the card.

Joy & Peace

Hello!

How is everyone?!? Only 4 days to go, until i'm chemistry free (at least for a month or so!) so i'm busy studying!!! But anyway, I'm on The Alley Way Stamps blog today sharing a card that features a few of the new December stamps!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps
I started with some red cards stock and the heart border stamps from Point of View. I made a background with white pigment ink on the red card stock. I used some washi tape to mask off a strip, this gives a place for my sentiment to go.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps

Then i trimmed it down a little and rounded the edges. I added some twine around the red panel and tied it in a bow. Next i stamped the snowman form Melt Your Heart Out on white card stock and again on some pattern paper. I paper pieced the snowman's scarf, mittens and ear muffs. Then i colored the rest of the snowmen with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps
Next i stamped my sentiment from the new Happy Everything. Then i added the snowman to the red panel with foam tape and adhered the panel to a black card base.
