Hello!
It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #167. The challenge is Southern Style, to celebrate two new stamps available at www.artimpressions.com!
For my card i'm using the Long Horn Set. I pulled out some pattern paper that has a nice southern kind of feel too it and on some leather pattern paper i stamped the long horn. Now the brown leather pattern is a bit dark and the long horn was hard to see at first. But to help him stand out i used two Spectrum Noir markers to add shadows. I also stamped the image on two other pattern papers and fussy cut out the blue for the ribbon and hat. For the horns and snout i used a yellowy patter.
I fussy cut out the long horn, then set him aside to work on the background. I picked a flowery pattern from the same paper stack and placed a stencil over it. With some distress ink i applied a bit of ink to part of the stencil.
Next i stamped the sentiment Happy Birthday to Moo in brown ink. I added the panel to a white card base, then added the long horn with foam tape over the stenciling.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to see you showing off your Art Impressions Southern Style!
