Wish Big
Hey!
I have been busy making cards the last couple days and today i am going to share one of them! A coworker of my mom is a great supporter of my cards and she ordered 2 teen boy cards and 2 teen girl cards.... Now i don;t have kids myself and well my teenage years are way behind me so i have no real idea what kind of cards teens want now a days. Now if you told me one kid is really into gaming or skateboarding or something then no problem i can do that! But just general... i'm not so sure... lol
So here i one of my cards i think a teen girl might like... maybe?? lol! I'm linking it to this week's CAS-ual Friday's Challenge - White - Blue and Red. It's been awhile since i could play so i happy to have the challenge again.
For my card i was inspired by a card i saw in Paper Crafts 2012 Stamp It! Cards. The card is by Agata Pfister on page 77 if you happen to have the magazine. You can check out her blog here.
I die cut and stamped the pocket and flowers. Added some pearls to the flowers and gold pearls to the pocket. I adhered the pocket to the card with pop up dots.
Then i stamped the sentiment and with a ruler added some lines.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Butterfly Birthday
Hi there!
Today i have my 3rd card for Gallery Idol. I think this card is good for anyone from a young girl to a teen. I think a lot depends girl! :)
I used a butterfly card cut file, cut white cardstock for my cardbase and cut just the butterfly out of pattern paper. I lightly inked the edges with distress ink.
Then i wrapped some twine around the butterfly and tied it in a bow. I added some white roses to the bow center.
Next i stamped Happy Birthday on Kraft cardstock and notched one end. I adhered it to the butterfly and last adhered the pattern paper butterfly to the cardbase.
Are you entering the Gallery Idol tryouts? Tomorrow is the last day to enter! Good Luck!

Hello!!
Hello!
Its been awhile but i am finally back! I finished a tough semester and i am having to take a chemistry class again since i missed a B- by 3 points!! Yes only 3... but now at least it is only one class so i have a bit more time!
I've been catching up on projects and such. I made 3 cards for this years Gallery Idol contest. Today I'm sharing 2 and the third tomorrow. I am also looking forward to participating in challenges again and checking out and leaving comments on fellow cardmaker's blogs!
First up is a card geared toward a young girl. My mom found this cute stamp at a scrapbook convention we went to a few weeks again. I stamped and embossed the young girl and colored her with watercolors.
I also added just a touch of glitter to the flowers in her hair, hand and on the present. I didn;t want a tone of glitter, just a touch so i added the glitter with a paint brush.
I stamped Happy Birthday and then added sister with alphabet stickers.
For the next card i made a mask of rectangles with my silhouette. I then placed the mask over a cardbase, and sprayed each rectangle with a different colored ink spray. Next i stamped some faux splatters and circles with a soft grey.
Then i die cut and then stamped the guitar. I adhere this to the cardbase with pop up dots. Last i added silver sequins. This card is geared toward a teen boy.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll have the 3rd card for Gallery Idol tomorrow and more cards next week! Have a great night!
