Be Inspired Challenge #58 - Take 2

Today i have my second take for The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge!! The inspiration is Halloween, but you don;t have to make a Halloween card (since Halloween was yesterday!!). I didn;t make a Halloween card, or at least i don't think i did. If it has bats, does that make it Halloween??

Anyway i used the left overs from my last Be Inspired card. I was playing with them and i liked how it looked when i layed the orange layer over the black layer and shifted the orange a little. I backed the two chevrons over a panel of blue card stock.

I glued all the layers together and trimmed off the excess. Next i stamped three bats from the Bumps in the Night set, cut them out and then colored them with a black distress marker. Next i cut out a circle from water colored paper and stamped the sentiment.

I added the bats and circle to the card base with foam tape. Then i adhered the panel to a white card base.

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you will play along with us a the Be Inspired Challenge, you still have plenty of time to submit a card!!

  1. Love the offset chevron dies! Really adds some great dimension and the colors play so well off one another!

  2. much fun happening here, with the chevrons, the colours and those sweet bats! Innovative and inspired, yet again! Most excellent!

  3. Super Fun colors, and the bats give it a very whimsical touch. TFS

  4. I think the blue keeps it from being too Halloweeny unless you want it to be :) Love the chevrons!!
