Hello and Happy Halloween!!
Halloween is my favorite time of the year!! My favorite color is orange and at this time I can get a lot of stuff in orange, hence my favorite time of the year!!! :)
Today, I'm sharing a Halloween card featuring Crafter's Companion Die'sire Classiques Ribbon Threading Die - Olivia. I paired the die with CC's Trick & Treating stamp set.
I am also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!
I started by trimming a piece of white card stock to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 card base. Then I placed the Ribbon Die across the panel and die cut it. I repeat it until the whole panel has been cut. Then I threaded orange ribbon through each line, using double sided tape to fold back the ends of the ribbon. Once all the ribbon was added, I adhered it to a black card base.
Next, I stamped the cute little kids from the Trick & Treat set on some CC's Ultra Smooth cardstock. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them. BG1, BG3, CT1, CT4, EB6, FS2, FS3, GB3, HB2, HB3, IG6, OR2, OR3, PL4, TB1, TB6, TB7, Blender.
Then I cut out a strip of Halloween pattern paper and adhered it across the card. I trimmed the stamped image down a little and added it to the card front too. From the paper pad, I trimmed out a sentiment rectangle and added it to the card with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!!

2016 Cat Lovers Hop
Hello!!
Today I'm sharing a card I made for the 2016 Cat Lovers Hop!! This hop is is right up my alley, I love cats! I have many cat stamps in my stash and at least a few I haven't used yet, know that I think about it! When I have my own place again and unpacked I'm getting a couple cats!!
I am also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!
My card features Art Impressions Cat Stacker, such a cute set!! I started by stamping the stack of cats on some watercolor cardstock. I squiggled the Distress markers on AI's palette and used some water and a paint brush to color the cats. A little soft blue around the cats and a little gray for a ground.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in brown ink. I added a few enamel dots that matched around the card. Last I added the panel to a white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! If you're a cat lover too, I hope you will play along too!!

Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils
Hello!
How is everyone?? I've been super, super busy the past few weeks, but I'm finally starting to get things done!! I have a few cards I made this summer that I want to share before winter sets in. These cards are flowery and more summery, so it's either now or wait till next summer! It has to be now, because who does where they will be next summer!!
I started by stamping Crafter's Companion Angelica & Adam Collection - Ben stamp, then I colored it with CC's colored pencils. I used the older pencils when I made this, I have since gotten CC's new Colourblend pencils and played with them.... and wow!! So, so nice!!! But I'll say more about them when I share that card!!
After coloring the image I used the Die'sire Essentials Square die to cut it and some blue card stock out. I cut a square card base from white cardstock and added some pattern paper to it. I used Echo Park Paper - That's My Boy Collection Pack.
I added the blue and stamped squares with foam tape and then added a few stickers from the collection pack. Since this card is meant for a boy I didn;t add any enamel dots, didn;t really think it needed them!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Art Impressions Challenge #195 'Til You Wobble
Hello!!
It's the second week of Art Impressions Challenge #195 'Til You Wobble! Super easy challenge to play along with, just use an Action Wobble (regular size or mini!!) AI is also releasing several new Mini Shaker sets!!
Today I have two cards featuring the Snowman Mini Shaker set! I started with the Fancy Pants Wish Season 6 x 6 pattern paper pad, stickers, and embellishment pack. When I did my coloring I matched the colors to the colors in the paper pad.
Next, I die cut the Notebook die twice from Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth Cardstock. Then I stamped the Snowman on them. I cut two circles from the cardstock with the circle die that comes with the stamp set.
I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the snowmen and circles. CR2, CR7, CR8, CR11, IG1, IG2, JG3, JG5, OR2, OR3, PP3, TB8, TB9. After coloring, I stamped the Brrrr sentiment to each snowman. Then I added the colored circles to their hats with a mini action wobble.
From the paper pad, I used a stitched rectangle to cut out a woodgrain and snowflake pattern and added them to two card bases. I added the colored snowmen to each card with foam tape. Last, I added some matching snowflakes, sentiments, and stickers from the paper collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope to see you playing along with us!!

Art Impressions Place Card Pal Dies
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with a cute card idea using the new Place Card Pals! These dies are so awesome and perfect for card sets!! Have a lot of cards to send this year??? The Pals are perfect for mass production!!
Basically, just pick out some pattern paper, die cut and assemble!! Easy Peasy!! :) I used Heidi Swap Marquee Love Holiday pad and cut the Snowman from the Christmas Placecard Set.
I picked out the red pattern and used a stitched rectangle to cut it out and add it to a white card base. I assembled the snowman with his hat, eyes, nose and bow tie.
I cut the double sided banner from the snowflake pattern and the Joy from the music pattern. I spelled out Snow from alpha stickers and added them to the banner to spell Snow Joy! Then I added it to the front of the snowman.
Last I added the snowman to the card with foam tape. To help spruce it up I added a tiny twine bow to his hat!!
See?? Easy Peasy!! And perfect for mass producing, stamp a sentiment on the inside, along with your personal message and you're done!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Art Impressions Halloween
Hello AI fans!!
Dana, here with two Halloween cards!! I can't believe October is here, the year is flying by!! My cards today feature the Punkin' Pie Set. I made two cards with this image, using the same Halloween paper pad.
I started by stamping the image twice and then used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them. If you happen to use Spectrum Noir markers with your coloring I recommend using Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth Premium Card Stock! I have found it to be the best card stock to use with my SN markers! I used DR1, DG4, EB6, FS1, FS3, FS6, GB2, GB6, HB2, HB3, IG3, IG8, LV2, OR2, OR3. After coloring I fussy cut one and cut the other with a stitched oval die.
For the first card, I trimmed some of the tiny pumpkin pattern into a banner shape. I punched two holes at the top and threaded some twine and tied it in a bow.
For my second card, I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the orange plaid paper. I added it to a white card base and then added the oval with foam tape.
From a solid orange page, I trimmed out a strip and notched one end and rounded the corners of the other. I stamped the sentiment added it to my card along with three rhinestones.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Art Impressions Challenge #194 The Perfect Pair
Hello,
I hope everyone is doing good!! I'm late with Art Impressions post because last night I thought today was Wednsday! So after class and before work I am getting this post together because it is in fact Thursday!! LOL The weekend can not get here fast enough!!
It's the second week of the Art Impressions Challenge #194 - Perfect Pair. AI has three great new Perfect Pair stamp sets that are now available! Warm Wishes is available at Michael's, Snow Much Fun and Fright Night available at AC Moore.
My card today features the Fright Night set! I started by die cutting three times the die in the set from water color cardstock. Then I stamped the three images and then colored them with my Distress Markers. I used Fossilized Amber, Riper Persimmon, Mowed Lawn, Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo, Dusty Concord, Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin.
Next, I mixed up some Ranger Texture Paste and Black Soot Distress Paint. I placed a Tim Holtz Halloween word stencil over a white card base and then applied the paste.
When the paste was dry I used a couple of my Distress Markers and water to flick spots all over the card base. I cut a strip of white cardstock and stamped the Happy Fright Night sentiment. Then I added it to the card and last added the colored images. The Frankenstein was added with foam tape!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Crafter's Companion on HSN Today!
Hello!
This is my second post, click here for my Art Impressions post!
Have you been watching for Crafter's Companion on HSN?? There is something for everyone! Below is the schedule make sure you check it out!!
Today, I'm featuring one of the Create a Card die, Snow Crystal! I made a card set with the die, creating a few different versions of stain glass! I used the die with black card stock and Candy Red, Silver Starlight, and White Pearl Shimmer Cardstock.
The die measures about 5 x 5 with the border around the snowflake, so I made card bases that size from white card stock. Then I adhered the snowflakes to the card bases! I used Stick It (available at Crafter's Companion!) but you can use any method you have!
Then I pulled out some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens and colored them!! I used Black, Silver, Gold, Fig, Starry Sky, Macoroon, Hearthside, Red Berry and Smoked Quartz. A little tip for you, be careful when applying the pens to the shimmer cardstock snowflakes, the ink will stain the card stock!
The Sparkle Pens have so much shimmer and you can play around with the different colors combinations!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Make sure you stop by HSN and pick up some great new crafty goodies!!

Art Impressions Distress Marker & Stencil Background
Hello AI fans!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with a Halloween card featuring the new Howl-oween Clear Stamp Set. I did some similar cards with this stamp set, but this particular card has a little different background!! I used a stencil and fine tipped markers!!
I started by die cutting some watercolor paper with a stitched rectangle die. Then I placed Tim Holtz Spider Web stencil on top. I used Distress Markers fine tips to squiggle in the open areas of the stencil. I used Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, and Black Soot.
Next, I stamped the cute kittie in her baby outfit and the treat pumpkin. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them both. DR5, BG4, BG6, BG7, OR2, OR3, TB4, TB8, TB12. Then I fussy cut out the kitty and bag.
On a strip of black card stock I white embossed the cat dress up sentiment. To put it all together I added the stenciled panel to a white background and then added the sentiment strip along with some pattern paper. Last I added the cat and bag with foam tape!

Crafter's Companion on HSN Oct 5th
Hello!
Crafter's Companion will be on HSN this Wednesday, October 5th. They are featuring the Spectrum Noir Colorista, Aqua and Sparkle Pens along with a bunch of new dies and the Gemini! Today, I'm featuring one of the new dies, Elegant Snowflake!
I started by cutting a panel of Crafter's Companion Watercolor Cards Stock and used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Marine marker, with some water to watercolor the panel.
When the panel was dry I stamped and embossed the Season's Greetings sentiment from Sheena Douglass Christmas Visitors. Then I placed the big snowflake die at the top of the panel, at the each side I placed the two tiny snowflakes. A quick run through my Gemini and the snowflake dies popped right off!
I did trim a little of the card stock from the sides between the big and smaller snowflakes. Then I just adhered the panel to a black card base. For a little sparkle, I added a few clear rhinestones to the snowflake centers!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure you stop by tomorrow for a card set featuring another new die available on HSN this Wednesday!!

World Card Making Day 2016
Hello!
Today is World Card Making Day!! The best day of the year!!! LOL!! I made today's card many months ago, but figured today was a great day to share it!!
I am entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!
I made the card with Hero Arts July My Monthly Kit and Add-Ons. While I love the different kits (and others by other companies) I don't have the money to get them monthly, but when I saw this I had to get it!! I have a weakness for ocean creatures, I'm not sure why as I really have no desire to live by the ocean or swim in it!
To start I die cut some blue card stock with a stitched rectangle die and laid Simon Says Stamp Waves Stencil over it. With some sandpaper (yes, I said sandpaper!!) I rubbed off some of the blue.
Next, I die cut a stitched oval from white cardstock. I used a few pigment inks to stamp the octopus and fishes. With black ink, I stamped the sentiment, Need a Hand?
I added the oval to the blue panel with foam dots. Then I added the panel to a white card base. I decided to add a little bit of sparkle so I used a Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen on the waves I sanded and the fish.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Happy World Card Making Day!!
