Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2017

Hello!!

It's time for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! Yay!!! Link your winter coffee/tea/hot coco themed project for your chance to win some great goodies!! There is a great list of sponsors and over course tons of coffee inspiration!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Crafter's Companion
I started my card off with the background using an embossing folder to get a letterpress like look! Know, I have to admit that I went this way because I'm lazy! It's finals week next week so everything I've been doing has been with time in mind!!! It's also the look that you get when you use the magnetic platform with my Big Shot. I just didn't want to get out my extra long regular platform or my Gemini for that really strong emobossing!!

But anyway, I really like how it turned out regardless! I used Crafter's Companions Contemparay Fold embossing folder and ink up one side with Hero Arts Red Royal ink. I love the faux letterpress look that resulted!!

Orginially I was going to stamp the cup red, and do an all red card, but decided it would pop better in green. So I stamped the coffee cup from Echo Park Paper's But First Coffee stamp set with Papertrey Ink Ripe Avocado. I used my MISTI so I could ink it multiple times since I was using CC's watercolor cards stock and its textured. I used it for the background and wanted all the white to match.

For the sentiment I used Avery Elle's Noel stamp set and stamped the Noel in the same red mentioned above. I also stamped a cluster of berries in the set. Then I trimmed the sentiment and notched each end and fussy cut out the berries.  I wrapped some red & white bakers twine around the cup and added the berries under the bow. Last I added the cup and sentiment to the card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you will play along with us! Can't wait to see all the winter coffee projects!!

Dana
