National Coffee Day & Trinity Stamps

Hello!!!

Happy National Coffee Day!! Today I have a special post! The Coffee Loving Cardmakers and Trinity Stamps got together and collaborated to create a new coffee themed stamp set!! Yay!  Today that new stamp set if available at Trinity Stamps!! It's called The Frappy Camper Perking Spot!

I started by stamping the camper, people, coffee maker, sign and coffee cups. To color them I used my Spectrum Noir Markers and then fussy cut them all out. If you prefer not to fussy cut, not to worry there are dies available!!

Next, I used a cloud and ground stencil to create the sky and ground. I used Trinity's new Blending Buddy and distress inks!! Such a fabulous new tool and it comes with a lid to protect the bristles!!

I stamped the Express Go on the camper and then added the one lady and coffee machine to the camper window. With foam tape I added the overhang. I stamped the Thanks A Latte sentiment, trimmed it and notched the ends. With foam tape I added it to the card.

Then I added the camper, people and sign with foam tape also. Since the background is so busy I didn't add any sequins or enamels dots!

Divinity Designs & Coffee Loving Cardmakers Collaboration Blog Hop

Welcome!!! Today I'm happy to be part of a Collaboration Blog Hop between Coffee Loving Cardmakers and Divinity Designs!!  If you came here from the fabulous Kathy, you are in the right place!! Or you can start at the beginning at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog!

Divinity Designs has some awesome coffee themed crafty projects!! You can find all of them here! I have two cards, each featuring the But First Coffee stamp set!

To start my first card I used my Mom's Brother Scan and Cut to cut out a coffee mug. I placed it on a white card panel and used a little bit of washi tape to hold it in place. Then I placed a stencil on top and used pink, orange and yellow Distress Inks to ink up the panel.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed the Coffee Everything Possible with black embossing powder. That gives it a nice shine and raised look. Last I free handed an outline for the the coffee mug, I though it need a little more defining then the stencil gave.

For my second card I stamped All You Need is Coffee sentiment all over a white panel and white heat embossed it. Then I used a purple, green and blue Distress Oxide inks to ink up the panel. With a barely damp baby wipe I cleaned up the embossed sentiments of ink.  I also used a little water and made some splatters all over the panel.

Next, I used a circle die to cut a few different sized circles from vellum, with some double sided adhesive on the back.  On one of the circles I stamped and gold embossing the sentiment again.

I arranged the vellum circles and when I liked them I peeled of the adhesive backing and adhered them to the card over the stamping and inking. From my stash I found some glitter dots that matched the ink colors I used!

Graciellie Designs - With Love & Gratitude

Hi!!

I'm stopping by today with a fall themed card, even though its warm this week and not really fall-ish! But, I'm hopeful cool weather will return!! I much prefer jeans and a hoodie!!

My card today features a new digital stamp set from Graciellie Designs, With Love & Gratitude. Its a gorgeous image with some fabulous sentiments.

I started by resizing the image in Word, then printing it and a sentiment on white card stock. With my Spectrum Noir Markers I colored the image. For Mother's Day I gave my mom a Brother Scan & Cut and we finally got it out of the box. I had several images colored and used the machine to cut them out, this candle included. I have to say this machine is awesome!!!

Next, I pulled out a stencil and Therm O Web Deco Foil Metallix gel, Aged Copper.  The metallic gel is very similar to other pastes on the market. Nice and creamy, easy to apply!! And I love the metallic shine!

After the gel had dried I decided cut the panel, taking out two 1/4 slices. I added the three remaining pieces to a white card base. Then I wrapped some twine into a loose circle and adhered it to the card with liquid adhesive. Last I added the colored candle with foam tape!

My first card features the More Than You Know! I used Word and added three hanging baskets, adjusting the size so they would fit across an A2 card. Printing it and an birthday sentiment on white card stock.

Next, I used my Spectrum Noir ColorBlend Pencils to color the image. I decided to color each the same, along with adding a light blue around the baskets.

I trimmed down the sentiment to a strip and then notched one end one end. Then I added it to the card with foam tape. For a little sparkle I added a few clear flat sequins. Last I rounded the corners.

I used Word for my second card too, Fall Wishes. Adding two so they would fit in an A2 card, along with the Give Thanks sentiment.

Then I printed it out and used the ColorBlend Pencils to color it up. After trimming the card stock to fit the card, I adhered it to a white card base. Then I added a few white gems.

I kept this one simple, letting the image and coloring be the star of the show!

Baby Card with Pinkfresh Studio

Hello!!

Today I'm sharing a card I made a few months ago, a just for fun card! I've been trying to really use the stamps I have, but I've been bad with sharing them!! I have a big pile of cards to share!!

This card started with a bag, a paper bag! At some point I received some stamps in this bag and its been sitting on my desk for who know show long! I cut the bag open and added portion to a white card base, trimming off the access.

Then I pulled out some Pinkfresh Studio stamps and dies. I started with Adore Alpha die set and cut out Baby from white card stock. Then I cut the Folk Elements from white card stock.

With blue ink I colored the alpha outlines and the Folk Elements. I kept the solid alpha white and used one of the foliage stamps from the Adore Alpha stamp and stamped it in the same blue ink.

With background (stripe bag) adhered to the card base I added the solid white alphas to the card with foam tape, spelling out Baby. Then I added the blue outline around each of the letters, directly to the card. I also added some of the Folk Elements around the letters.
