Graciellie Designs - Retro Hello

Hello!!

I'm popping in today with a card featuring the newest digital stamp set at Graciellie Designs - Retro Hello!  A fabulous retro telephone image with some great sentiments!! A fun stamp set to have on hand when you want to send a hello!!

I started my card by adding the phone cord image to a Word document, then I resized it. Next, I copied and pasted many of the cord image and arranged them around to create a background for an A2 size cards.

Then I added the phone image and resized it. I printed them both out and then used my Copic to color them up. I printed a sentiment to use on my card, but later found that I couldn't really get it to fit on my card base in a way I liked!

Next, I used a stitched rectangle to cut out the phone cord panel and added it to a black card base. Like I mentioned above I couldn't get a layout I liked with the sentiment I printed, so instead I pulled out some glitter alphabet stickers.

I added the alphabet stickers at the bottom of the panel to spell out Hello. Then I added a strip of black card stock across the card. Last, I added the colored phone image to the card with foam tape.

Graciellie Designs - Family Love

Hello!!

Graciellie Designs has gorgeous come out with gorgeous new releases!! One of the most recent is the oh so pretty Family Love! Gorgeous Iris's and some fabulous sentiments!! Perfect for your feminine family and friends!!

I started by opening the single Iris and leaves, then resizing them in Word. For a sentiment I picked out With Love and Daughter, adding them to the flower like they were all one sentiment.

Next, I printed it out and used my Copic markers to color the flower and leaves. Then I used a stitched rectangle to cut out the flower. With a craft knife and sharp scissors I cut around a part of the flower and sentiment.

For a card base I pulled out some blue card stock that matched the blue I colored the Iris's. Then I used Funky Fossil Designs Random Rectangle Stencil and white pigment ink to ink up the background.

Last, I added the flower to the card base, along with a few sequins scattered about.
