Hey there!!
So i'm still in the coloring mood, i still have a couple more cards to share featuring colored images and i even have 3 images colored, but haven;t made them into cards yet... :) I am entering this into Tiddly Inks Challenge - Clean And Simple.
The first thing i did was stamp and color the Tiddly Ink image. This is the first time i used this stamp set (and i couldn't stop i made another card with another image in the set, the very next day!) I used Distress Markers to color the image.
Once the image was colored i found some pattern paper to match. I used a text pattern paper for the card base and i used a wide piece of blue paper, notching the end.
I adhered the blue panel and the image panel on top. Then i stamped the sentiment and last added a purple button with some black twine!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Enchanted Birthday
Happy Saturday!!
I have a card today that i made for Fusion Card Challenge! I went with just the sketch part of the challenge!
I punched 3 circles from watercolor paper. I stamped three different images from The Alley Way Stamps set Enchanted. I colored each image with distress markers.
To make the circles fit on my card base i slightly overlapped them. I added 2 strips of pattern papers at the bottom.
Last i added the sentiment Have a Magical Day, Happy Birthday to the inside of the card.
I also have the winner of The Alley Way Stamps Pointer set from yesterday, YAY!!!:
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

I love how the balloons in the picture are dipped in gold, to make my own gold balloons, i first inked up a solid stamp from Spell Check with versamark ink. I then sprinkled on gold embossing powder only on the bottom half. After placing the extra back in the bottle, i sprinkled another color on the top half. Then i heat embossed it. To get a nice flat coverage, i did this twice for each balloon.
To finish the balloons, i added black twine and tied a bow around each balloons tails. Last i stamped the sentiment thanks at the bottom right!

School
Hey there!!
I love winter and snow... i do NOT love a -39 windchill!! That was yesterday after 17 inches of snow!! Its a little better today and by Saturday it will be 38!! Yep and a little bit of rain!! I wish it would just stay cold, like 30 all winter long, i don;t like the up and down!!
But anyway since i've been staying in (other then snow blowing or shoveling of course!) i've made a few cards! Since receiving more Distress Markers for Christmas i have been in a major coloring mood!
I did this card for Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Anything Goes and CAS-ual Friday - In a Word challenge. The In a Word challenge is a word to describe what you hope for the year. My word - School. I will be applying for a 2 year program this spring, if i get in and complete the program i will finally have my bachelor's degree, but for me its so much more then that, it will mean i will have a super good paying job, job security, health insurance and financial security after the student loans are paid off.
I created a background using several stamps from Paper Smooches Smarty Pants set. I stamped them on a journaling card then trimmed off a portion of that card. I added a little paper clip and then adhered it to my card base with foam tape.
I then used some alpha stickers to spell out Good Luck at School. This would be a perfect card for any student at any time in their academic year!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I want to mention real quick to stop by The Alley Way Stamp blog, its their 3rd birthday and they have lots of giveaway's and a coupon good this month!!

Warm Birthday
Hello everyone!!
Today i have a card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration is Smitten, anything that you love this time of year. I kind of took it as something to keep us warm this winter and boy do we need it! The lows are in the negative with even colder wind chills!!
I don;t drink coffee or tea but i love to drink hot cider in the winter, so for my card i used a cup image from The Alley Way Stamps Breakfast Club set. I found some plaid pattern paper that i kind of wish was a real blanket!, it looks so warm and cuddly!! I colored the cup with distress markers to match the pattern paper.
I die cut the cup with a scalloped circle and adhered it to my cardbase with foam tape. I then stamped Happy Birthday below the scallop.
I also want to mention that The Alley Way Stamps is having there 3rd birthday this month and to celebrate TAWS is having a sale and lots of giveaways!! Check out the blog for all the details!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Kiss a Frog
Hi there!!
How is everyone!! A little cold... a little snowy here!! (ok, really a lot but who's counting!) We got about 7ish inches over New Years and more is expected tomorrow!
So i'm not really a New Years resolution kind of person, but this year i have made a crafty resolution that i'm really hoping to keep! Like everyone i have lots of crafty stuff, tons of stamps, embellishments, pattern paper, dies etc. So i have decided to not buy any more crafty stuff!! Gasp!!!
Now there are a few exceptions:
Ok, so on to my card!! I whipped up this card for the CAS(E) this Sketch! I also used some new copics to color the cute frog image!! Simon Says Stamps has bundles of easily blendable copic colors and i went to Micheal's and was able to find some of the green colors. I really liked it, but alas, do to what i mentioned above i will NOT be buying anymore :(
I used the cute frog from The Alley Way Stamps Enchanted set, colored with copics and cut it out. I also used a self inking tool that i received with my World Card Making Day prize package. It added dash lines across my card.
Last i adhered the frog to the cardbase with foam tape and stamped the sentiment!
I also want to mention that this month is The Alley Way Stamps 3rd birthday and to celebrate there is a coupon good for Janurary, 25% off your purchase, use code TAWSbirthday3 at checkout! Click here to check them out!!
Do you have a crafty resolution for this year? I'd love to hear about it!

Now there are a few exceptions:
- Adhesive and cardstock - I will definitely run out of both before the end of the year, and you kind of need these to make cards!!!
- Gift Cards - Anything crafty wise i purchase with gift cards will not count, cuz its not my money!! I have a couple gift cards from Christmas and will probably get another for my birthday later in the year... i'll use these when i really, really want something that i can;t live without!!!
- Prizes - If i win something ------> still not spending my money!!
- Custom Orders - On occasion i get custom order from my etsy shop, so any supplies i might need to complete an order will not count!
- Design Team Purchases! - I'm not going to count these, because having a good round collection helps me support and show off their stamps that much better! (hey, that's my story and i'm sticking to it!!!) :D

Die Cut Flower
Hello!
Today i have a card i made for the Runway Inspired Challenge. This is the inspiration photo:
I couldn;t find any paper that matched the green/yellow of the pants, so i made my own. I started with some yellow pattern paper and then i stamped a pattern over the paper with green ink. I used a stamp from The Alley Way Stamp - Bitty Border set. I think with the yellow paper and green ink, i got close to the color in the photo.
Next i used a flower die cut and cut the flower from my stamped pattern paper. I saved all the little pieces to use later. I adhered the rectangle (with the flower shape cut out of it) to my cardbase.
Next i wanted to re-make my flower with the little pieces you usually through away. I placed the flower outline back into the space i die cut. Then i added all the pieces back with foam dot. Its like a puzzle fitting each piece into the flower. When they are all added, i carefully pulled up the flower outline.
To finish i added a glitter gem to the flower center and stamped my sentiment, also from the Bitty Border set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
