Hiya!!
So.... today i have a card with a snowman on it! Yep a snowman, because apparently winter is not over... yesterday it was almost 50 degrees and i didn't even wear a jacket! But today.... we should have about 10 inches of snow on the ground by this afternoon! I mean really?!?!? So to 'celebrate' (said in a very sarcastic voice!!) i decided to post a card i made a few weeks ago. I made this card for a challenge, but went to post it and realized i was too late! And well, today is a great day to post it apparently! :D
The challenge that i made it for was about quilts, so on that thought i made a circle quilt. I punched some pattern papers with a square punch. Then die cut a circle from a piece of sticky cardstock (one side is adhesive). I placed my squares on the sticky side and trimmed off the extra.
To finish the circle i added tiny twin bows to the four corners of the middle square. I die cut a small circle out of watercolor paper then stamped and colored the cute snowman image. Before i adhered my circles i placed the blue paper on my card base and then flicked some white opaque Mister Huey's on the blue paper.
Once the flicks were dry i added the circles and a couple of buttons. Last I stamped the sentiment in the lower left corner.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mint & Melon
Hey there!!
Today i have a card that i made for Seize the Sketch, i also used the colors Mint & Melon and am entering it in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking March Gallery Challenge.
Here is the sketch i followed:
I used The Alley Way's Spotted stamp set to stamp the background. I followed the sketch by stamping melon on the right and mint on the left. I also stamped a panel in grey using a stamp from the set.
I used a die cut circle, stamped my sentiment and then adhered it to my card base. I layered the grey spotted panel over the circle with foam dots. Next i added a strip of white cardstock over the grey panel and notched the end.
Last i die cut some tiny flower. To make sure my flowers matched my colors i used a couple scraps and inked them up with the same ink i used on the background. Then i cut them out and adhered them together in a cluster on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Re-BE Inspired Challenge #49
Hey there!!
Just posting a card for TAWS Be Inspired Challenge #49! You still have a week to play along for your chance to win a TAWS stamp set. This is the inspiration picture:
I used the colors as my inspiration. I usually see inspiration literally, and when i first started this card and my idea started with having the bird upside down at the top of the card. I was going to have it hanging from rope or something. I did all the stamping and masking of the feathers all upside down. However after stamping i flipped it and liked it better the right way.... so i left it that way!
I colored everything with distress markers, orange with a little bit of purple, red and yellow. I matted the panel with blue cardstock, i thought it gave it a nice contrast with all the orange tones. To add some dimension, i added some glossy accents to the black centers of each feather (its really hard to see, but its there!! :D )
I created a ground for the peacock and then stamped the sentiment. I really love how it turned out!! Click here for the challenge info! Can;t wait to see your creations!

Let's Celebrate!
Hello!!
Today i am sharing a fun card i just made because, oh about week or two ago! The idea came to me while i was trying to fall asleep one night! And when i sat down to make it i spied a tag die and thought, hmmmm how about a tag card!!! LOL
So to make the card i folded a piece of PTI rustic white cardstock, then placed the tag die just over the fold. Die cut, then cut it again from a scrap piece. I did my stamping on the tag cut from a scrap piece of PTI cardstock.
I stamped the circles in 4 different colors, varying where the circles fell just a little. I also stamped the banner and the sentiment in grey. I stamped the sentiment again to get a shadow. I cut the banner out and adhered it to my tag with foam tape.
I added 4 sequins just below the banner. Then i added the stamped tag to my card base tag. And then last added a bit of white twill tape at the top!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Happy Thoughts
Hello!!
Well i'm sooo ready for spring!! I just recently picked up the cutest sandals and i so so want to wear them!!! But..... it snowed this weekend, there's still about 10 inches on the ground, were still getting temps below zero....... i am soooo ready for spring!! :)
And to help convince Mother Nature to bring spring back around i made a sweet and fresh card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Perfectly Peach! I love the bright white, pink, peachy with a touch of green in the photo!! I also went a little literal by included a few peaches in my card!!
I started with the background first, the picture has a lot of white and grey so i pulled out a stencil and placed it over a white card base. I don't have any grey ink spray or paint so i made my own paint with white and black acrylic paint. I first smeared a few areas with the grey, then i added just white to the remaining areas. As i scraped off the extra it mixed/smeared with the grey!! I really love how it turn out!!
While the background dried, i pulled out some whitewashed cardstock and border punch. After it was punched i used sandpaper to bring out the peachy color of the cardstock. Next i pulled out several pattern papers and stamp the peach from The Alley Way Stamps Tooty Fruity set. I cut them out and paper pierced the stems and leafs with green and brown cardstock.
I layered the border over my cardbase and added the peaches with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment Happy Thoughts from the TAWS set Speak Easy and added a tiny minty button. I notched the end and added it to my card base.
I just love how it turn out!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

World Card Making Day Thank You Blog Hop
Hello!
Today i am participating in a special World Card Making Day Thank You Blog Hop. All the winners from Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking WCMD 2013 contest have gotten together to say Thank you!! Thank you to PC&S, fellow card makers, manufactures who donated product and well to everyone!! The card making community has such a great network of wonderful people and i just love how PC&S brings everyone together through their magazine and blog!
If you came from Asty Purbasari blog you are in the right place! You can start at the beginning if you want at Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking blog!
So we are all making and sharing a card in the category we won in and using some of the amazing crafty supplies we received in the prize package. My category was Thank You!
I started with Lil' Inker Designs Connected Circle die and a 4.25 x 5 inch white card stock panel. I cut several rows of the circles from the panel. As each row was cut i kept both the negatives and the circles all in order from top to bottom.
Next i used to die to cut circles from Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day pattern paper. I cut apart at least 2 circles from the different patterns. Then i trimmed a sheet of Be Creative Double Sided Tape Sheet to fit my card base. I pulled off the top paper from the sheet and adhered the first negative, starting at the top. Then i randomly placed my cut apart circles, fitting them into the negative piece. After they were in place i added the next negative piece. I continued this until my panel was complete.
I pulled the backing off the double sided sheet and placed the circle panel on my card base. Then i trimmed a couple more circles adhering them with foam dots over their matching circles.
I added some buttons from the same Fancy Pants collection and last stamped the sentiment, Thanks from Lawn Fawn's Woodgrain Backdrops stamp set.
Your next stop in the hop is the wonderful and talented Erin Lee Schreiner!! If you want to start from the beginning or find a broken link, click here to go to Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
