Hello!!
I'm sharing a TAWS card today! I used a stamp from the new October release, Tickle Me Happy. I used some vellum and embossing powder with the feathers.
I started by using two different feathers and stamping them on vellum with versamark ink. I added pink embossing powder to some and an antique silver to the others. I melted the powder and then cut them out.
I used a white card base and arranged the feathers along the bottom of the card. Next i decided to use some alpha embellishments and spell out You, i added them to the card with glue. Then i stamped part of the Just For You sentiment above my mint You. Last i rounded all the corners.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Winter
Hello!!
I'm popping in super quick with a card for Winnie & Walter WCMD Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch:
I used a W&W cut file, i cut it out of brown glitter card stock. I backed the cut out with blue card stock and then trimmed around the edge of the cut out.
Next i die cut some snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp. To make my card close to the sketch i still need a strip behind the circle and rounded corner over the regular corner. I thought about adding pattern paper, but then decided to make it simple and instead tried my hand at doodling!!
I placed the winter cut out on my Kraft card base and then drew in a strip behind it, a curve along the bottom and then added a some dots and lines. I adhered the cut file with foam dots and then added the snowflakes!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

My Craft Space
Hi there!!
I'm showing my craft space today and later today a card or two! This past Saturday was World Card Making Day and Winnie & Walter is having a bunch of challenges to celebrate! I spent the weekend making cards to play along, so later today i'll be posting at least one card (and more will be coming!) For the celebration they are also looking to see your crafty space, below is mine! AND Craft Storage Ideas also has a link up for showing your crafty space!!
Below is my crafty space! You can see a before and a before that here in a past post. I am currently in the middle of re-organizing, so my shelves are a little messy. I took these picture Saturday morning and i didn;t clean up my desk, so this is what it normally looks like!!
Next week i'll show you some close up's as there is a lot going on in this picture! I am currently putting my clear stamps in plastic sleeves. I have a bunch done, but still have 3 drawers of stamps in CD cases to do. The drawer is below my desk (basically where you would put your legs when you sit at the desk). My TAWS stamps still need to be put into sleeves, but i have to wait until the big shelf is more organized and thus more space!!
I also purged a bunch of stuff, i mean a lot!! Its at the very top left of the big shelf, plus a container just below the box. Plus i have bunch of stuff in my car. I'm currently selling the purged stuff on Ebay. So i can only do so much organizing while i wait to get all the purged stuff out and off the shelf!!
The small self on my desk also needs organizing, plus stuff is spilling onto the floor!! Again its in progress as i wait for the big shelf to clear and i can reorganize!! I do have some things organized and will show you soon!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back with a card for a Winnie & Walter WCMD Challenge!!

Let's Chill
Hiya!!
Today i'm sharing a The Alley Way Stamps card! I'm using a new October release set All Wrapped Up along with an older favorite Chill Out! I am entering this card in STAMPlorations October Challenge: Stamps & Embossing (i used embossing paste).
I started with a white card base and used some distress ink and applicator to add blue all around the card, leaving the middle white. Next i placed a stencil over my card base and added some embossing paste. I lifted the stencil and set aside the card base to dry.
Meanwhile i used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the All Wrapped Up SVG (The Alley Way Stamps have matching cut files for their stamps in SVG and PNG files). I cut the super cute bird wearing a hat and a scarf along with the tree branch. I stamped the branch with brown pigment ink and the bird with black ink. I made my bird black using a black distress marker. To color the hat and scarf i used Copic markers. I also added a little Wink A Stella on the hat and scarf.
When the embossing paste was dry i stamped my Let's Chill sentiment from the Chill Out set. I also added a few blue sequins to the background and last adhered the branch and bird.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with craft room post, along with a card or two that made on Saturday!

World Card Making Day 2014
Hello!!
Happy World Card Making Day!!! Luckily i found sometime last weekend to make a card for this wonderful holiday!! YAY!! I also hope to be able to spend some time in the craft room today!!
I am really in the mood to play along with challenges... the only trouble is finding the time for them all!! I'm entering this card into Newton's Nook Design WCMD Link Up! I made today's card for the Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge #31! Here is the photo inspiration:
I love the mix of yellow, pink and purple in the photo! So i pulled out Altenew's Ori Kami set and stamped the butterfly many times all over my white card base. I embossed them with white embossing powder.
Next i used yellow and lots of water to color my panel, then i went in and colored each butterfly pink or purple adding a some yellow to the outer wings. As i did it, i went back and added more yellow to the background i thought it helped the butterflies pop out a little more. When i went to take pictures, i realized it's a lot more yellow then i intended it to be! But i still like it!!
I set the panel aside to dry and then pulled out a white card stock strip and stamped the happiness sentiment with brown ink. After eyeballing it over my panel, i decided to add a strip of dark brown card stock along the bottom of the white strip.
Last i added the strip across the panel with foam dots, then adhered the panel to a white card base. I thought about adding glitter or sequins or something, but after trying out some sequins i figured less is more!!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope your World Card Making Day is wonderful and full of card making!!

Be Inspired Challenge #57 - Take 2
Hi!!
I'm here with another card for The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge #57. You still have plenty of time to play along!!! Here is the photo inspiration:
I liked the grey baby onsie with the white car so i used that part of the photo for my inspiration. I started with a piece of grey card stock and drew a line with a pencil then stamped the little truck from the Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood with versamark ink. I did another line above (using the lines on my mat so my lines were straight and had the same width between them). I stamped the car from Got It Covered in versamark ink, then did another line, stamped another row.... you get the idea!! When the stamping was done i embossed it all with white embossing powder. I next went in with a fine tip black marker and made a road for my trucks and cars!!
Next i use Out of This World stamp set for my sentiment. I picked the birthday stamp, inking one part with green ink then stamped it. Cleaned the stamp and then inked the other part with brown ink. I cut out each part.
When i placed the sentiment pieces on my card base i thought it still needed something so i cut a strip of the grey paper, tore it in half and placed it underneath the sentiments. I liked it so i adhered the sentiments to each strip, then added them to my card base with foam tape. To finish it off i added three wood arrows!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you will play along with us at the Be Inspired Challenge!!

The Alley Way Stamps October Blog Hop!
Hi there!!
Yay!! Its time for The Alley Way Stamps October Blog Hop!!! That means its release time and we have some fun new stamps!!! Three new sets plus a mini set free with a $40 purchase! There is also a chance to win all three new sets!! (details below)
I used the new Snow Daze set, a perfect snowflake stamp set!! I started with some dark brown card stock (it was leftover from my sneak card!) i thought it would make a wonderful non traditional winter card!!
I stamped one of the snowflakes with versamark ink all over the card base, then embossed it with this white and gold glitter embossing powder i have. I also did NOT use my antistatic bag before embossing! I did this because i wanted the little embossing pieces to be all over my card stock! I think it helps the snowflakes look even more like well... snowflakes!! :D
Next i pulled out this lovely sparkly white gold ribbon. I think i picked it up at Micheal's in the wrap department last year! Its is a gorgeous color!!! I adhered three strips of it, near the bottom of my card base.
I die cut a tiny tag and stamped the Merry & Bright from the also new stamp set All Wrapped Up in versamark ink. I embossed it with white embossing powder (using my antistatic bag first) :D I added a little bit of ribbon to the top of the tag and then used my scissors to curl the long tails. Last i added the tag to my card base with foam dots!!
I really love how sparkly and elegant this card turned out!!!
You can pick and choose which ones you want to do, but the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!
