Here there!!
So i have a pile of odds and ends on my desk that always seams to grow! These odds and ends are extra die cuts, buttons, stamped images and such that didn;t make it onto a card. I always tell my shelf that i need to use these and only these, until they are all gone!! (i also have another little envelope thing filled with these odds and ends too) But i never seam to use them, but today that changed with this card! Everything was from that pile except the card it self, the pearls and wood veneer!
I found the dragon, already cut and colored, along with a border punched from purple card stock. I also used a kraft label already cut and placed the fancy border across it. I popped the dragon on foam dots and placed it on the label and border.
I adhered the label on the brown card base. I also dug through my embellishment stash and pulled out a wood veneer speech bubble. I inked it up with brown dye ink, then stamped the sentiment Hi with white pigment ink. I also stamped the sentiment Heard You Were Dragon on the kraft label. Last i added a few green and purple pearls!
Hopefully i'll use more of my odds and ends! And who knows one of these days my craft desk just might free of them!!

Melon Thanks
Hey!!
Today i have a nice spring card for you, because you know spring has to come sometime! I see little itty bitty signs of it here and there! Since its been such a long winter i have been so drawn to spring colors and images. Today i am playing with a fun stamp from Penny Black!! I can't stop inking up this stamp and playing with the matching stencil! I'm sure i'll have more project to share in the coming weeks!!
I am entering this card in Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking's March Gallery Challenge. The theme is melon and mint. This card has a lot of melon with just a pinch of mint!!!
To start i stamped the Penny Black's flower image with watermark ink and embossed in with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. I used some PTI Melon Berry ink to color with flowers. Their ink works well with water, kind of like watercoloring. I also used Spring Moss for the leaves.
Next i stamped the sentiment Thanks and added some enamel dots, in melon and mint (here is the pinch of mint!!) I also pierced some holes along the bottom and threaded some twine. I tied it in a bow at the left and added a melon dot to the center.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully this inspires you do to some spring stamping!!

Hello Spring!
Hi there!!
Today i have 3 quick spring or Easter tags for you! I did these for the Cure For They Monday Blues Challenge #8. Taheerah has been picking some gorgeous inspiration photos and i finally got around to playing again. Here is this weeks photo:
I went with the pink, yellow, grey and white colors in the photo and made some quick spring tags. I first stamped the bunny, chick, and lamb from pink, yellow and grey card stock. I also stamped them again on some scrap paper. I cut them all out, then cut out the their belly and ear centers from the white card stock.
To make these even easier, use a opaque white pen and color in the bellies and ears. Thought about that AFTER cutting out all the little pieces, of course!! LOL
I die cut some tags from white card stock and adhered each die cut image with foam tape. Next i stamped the sentiment Hello Spring on each tag. Last i added a little pink twine to the top of each stamp!!
Easy peasy!! Cute little spring stamps AND easy to make multiples of!!
Have a great day!!

UR Special
Hey there!!
How is everyone doing?!?! Its cold and there was snow yesterday, but i'm so done with that! I'm thinking out of mind out of sight!! (think it will work?!?! hehe)
Today i have a card i made for The Runway Inspired Challenge. Here is the fashion inspiration! (so shiny!)
I dug out some silver glitter paper and wondered if i could emboss on it! Well turns out you can! And i love the result. I used watermark ink and The Alley Way's new stamp set Spotted. With some washi tape and post it notes i masked of all but a triangle at the top of my glitter panel. I stamped and embossed each line until the triangle was complete. Removed the washi tape and wa-la a nice shiny, dotty triangle!!
For a sentiment i die cut a U and R, then pressed them into watermark ink and embossed them with the same black embossing powder i used for the triangle. This gave the letters a nice glossy look to them.
Next i stamped and embossed the sentiment special from The Alley Way's Tooty Fruity stamp set. I added the U and R and a grey jewel. I also added 3 big silver sequins at the triangle, adding enamel dots to the sequins centers!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Winter Comforts
Hiya!!
So.... today i have a card with a snowman on it! Yep a snowman, because apparently winter is not over... yesterday it was almost 50 degrees and i didn't even wear a jacket! But today.... we should have about 10 inches of snow on the ground by this afternoon! I mean really?!?!? So to 'celebrate' (said in a very sarcastic voice!!) i decided to post a card i made a few weeks ago. I made this card for a challenge, but went to post it and realized i was too late! And well, today is a great day to post it apparently! :D
The challenge that i made it for was about quilts, so on that thought i made a circle quilt. I punched some pattern papers with a square punch. Then die cut a circle from a piece of sticky cardstock (one side is adhesive). I placed my squares on the sticky side and trimmed off the extra.
To finish the circle i added tiny twin bows to the four corners of the middle square. I die cut a small circle out of watercolor paper then stamped and colored the cute snowman image. Before i adhered my circles i placed the blue paper on my card base and then flicked some white opaque Mister Huey's on the blue paper.
Once the flicks were dry i added the circles and a couple of buttons. Last I stamped the sentiment in the lower left corner.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mint & Melon
Hey there!!
Today i have a card that i made for Seize the Sketch, i also used the colors Mint & Melon and am entering it in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking March Gallery Challenge.
Here is the sketch i followed:
I used The Alley Way's Spotted stamp set to stamp the background. I followed the sketch by stamping melon on the right and mint on the left. I also stamped a panel in grey using a stamp from the set.
I used a die cut circle, stamped my sentiment and then adhered it to my card base. I layered the grey spotted panel over the circle with foam dots. Next i added a strip of white cardstock over the grey panel and notched the end.
Last i die cut some tiny flower. To make sure my flowers matched my colors i used a couple scraps and inked them up with the same ink i used on the background. Then i cut them out and adhered them together in a cluster on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Re-BE Inspired Challenge #49
Hey there!!
Just posting a card for TAWS Be Inspired Challenge #49! You still have a week to play along for your chance to win a TAWS stamp set. This is the inspiration picture:
I used the colors as my inspiration. I usually see inspiration literally, and when i first started this card and my idea started with having the bird upside down at the top of the card. I was going to have it hanging from rope or something. I did all the stamping and masking of the feathers all upside down. However after stamping i flipped it and liked it better the right way.... so i left it that way!
I colored everything with distress markers, orange with a little bit of purple, red and yellow. I matted the panel with blue cardstock, i thought it gave it a nice contrast with all the orange tones. To add some dimension, i added some glossy accents to the black centers of each feather (its really hard to see, but its there!! :D )
I created a ground for the peacock and then stamped the sentiment. I really love how it turned out!! Click here for the challenge info! Can;t wait to see your creations!
