Welcome to my blog! If you are coming from the fabulous Mari Kocjancic, you are in the right place! If you just stopping by my blog, you can start at the beginning at Spectrum Noir!
Have you seen the peeks of a great new line from Spectrum Noir??? If not, it's called Spectrum Noir Colorista and its the latest and greatest in the Adult Coloring crafting segment!!! This new collection is debuting August 30th on HSN!!!
Spectrum Noir even has a free online coloring class!! Check it out here! It's free!!! Also, make sure you comment all along the hop, a Colorista Prize Pack is up for grabs!!!
Here is the schedule (subject to change)
The Colorista collection includes so many great products!! Awesome coloring pads (some with colorable glitter!!!), alcohol markers (these have finer points than the Spectrum Noir Markers), colored pencils and more!!!
My card features the Colorista Markers and a page I colored from the Eastern Promises coloring pad. I actually made 2 cards and a Post It note cover from this one page. I'll be sharing the other card and cover later this week!!
It all started with coloring the sheet, included in the color pad is a blank sheet that you can use to protect the page below the one you are working on. I used the Colorista Markers to color the sheet, they are alcohol and very similar to the Spectrum Noir Markers. The Colorista Markers have two tips, both have a much finer point than the SN Markers. They blend just like the SN markers. These Colorista Markers are great too if you are thinking about getting the SN Markers, a great way to try them out!!
After coloring my page I pulled out a few circle dies and cut the circles from the page. Next, I pulled out a black card base and played around with the circle placement. When I was happy with it I heat embossed a sentiment on the card base in white.
Next, I added the circles to the card with foam tape and trimmed off the overhang! A very easy card made with a coloring sheet!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will stop by later this week for two more projects I made with the remaining colored sheet!! Your next stop in the hop is the awesome Nicole Bretherick!!
