Merry Christmas

Hello!!

Popping in real quick to share new The Alley Way Stamps creation!! It features this month's Free with a $40 purchase mini stamp: Winter's Butterflies. First of all this card looks much better in person!! It just didn;t photograph well, i tried it with a white background and a red background, and well ... the white background was the better of the two, but not perfect!!

I am entering this card into Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - The Alley Way Stamps

I started by stamping the snowflakes with a light grey ink, all over my card base. I decided to add a panel of Kraft across the bottom and i used the Christmas sentiment from Making Holiday's Bright a new November stamp set.

It still needed something so i used the cute robin bird from Chill Out, colored him with a red inktense colored pencil and a Copic colorless blender. I added the kraft panel with foam tape then added the bird after i cut her out.

But, yep you guessed it it still needed something! I used a wink of stella glitter pen on the snowflakes. Not that you can, at all!! But its there!! I swear!!! hehehe!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Dana

  2. Kraft, snowflakes, an eye-catching wee cardinal: a most lovely combination, Dana! I hear you about photography issues that cause 'grrr...' moments. With the switch to daylight savings, it's already dark by 4:30, so my picture taking opportunities are major compromised (then again, if I made my cards earlier and took the photos earlier, I wouldn't have this issue, would I! Yeeesh...I need course in organization; I could 'give' a course in disorganization *grin*)
