Hello,
Today i have a card to share for the Lawnscaping Challenge 99 - Clean and Simple. To take a break in making Love/Valentine cards i decided to make an Easter card.
I started by die cutting a stitched oval from a piece of white card stock. I placed the negative over a white card base. With a ink applicator i applied blue ink lightly to the oval. Next i pulled out some pattern paper, which i think is Lawn Fawn, but its old and not available. I cut a wave along one edge, then placed it along the bottom part of the stitched oval and die cut it.
I added the pattern paper piece to my card base with foam dots, since i colored the oval blue, the pattern piece fits nicely in the bottom of the inked oval. Next i stamped the cute little bunny from the Lawn Fawn Happy Easter set in black ink. I colored him with Copic Markers.
In my embellishment drawer i found a old (like super old) Easter sticker sheet. It has some cute glitter flowers. I pulled several off, using baby powder to make the stickers not sticky. I arranged them around the oval and when i was happy with it i added several with foam dots a few directly to the card. Last i added the bunny with foam dots too and then stamped the sentiment below the oval.
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back tomorrow with another love/valentine card!! (only a couple more!! ) :)
