Hello!!
How is everyone doing? It was very nice Sunday and i spent the whole day outside working in the garden! I wanted to get a few things done, but well the sunshine and fresh air was calling my name!! We a bit of rain coming, so that will be good for the seeds i planted!! And while its raining i can be inside catching up!! LOL!!
Anyway today i am sharing a card featuring The Alley Way Stamps ! i am using a couple of the new May release stamps Something's Fishy and Gill-Friend (this months free set with a $40 purchase). I am also entering this over at Craft Your Passions Challenges - Always Anything Goes!
I started by making my background, i pulled out some shimmer card stock in three different shades of aqua. I placed a stencil over each one and used 3 different shades of blue ink to lightly ink the wave stencil.
Next i die cut bunch of circles from each of the three colors, i also used three different sized circles! Apparently i had a thing for 3s that day!! hehehe!! When everything was cut i adhered them to a white card base.
Then i stamped the cute dolphin from Gill-Friend on some water color paper. I used one of the blue inks i used on the background to stamp the dolphin, then used a grey distress marker to color him up. I cut him out and then used a similar colored distress marker to ink the edges.
I cut a strip of grey card stock and stamped a few water drops and the Make A Splash sentiment, then embossed them with white embossing powder! Then i added the grey strip and dolphin to my card with foam dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Dana
