Hello!
Can you believe its almost February?!?! Before we know it will be summer!!! Today i sharing a Jumbo tag, which i think would make a great bookmark for a book lover!!
I die cut the jumbo tag from white card stock and again from some chipboard. I don't buy chipboard, instead save it from cereal boxes or packaging!
On the card stock i stamped Crafter's Companion Sheena Douglass Monarch Butterfly stamp with versamark ink several times on the tag. I used a copper embossing powder and heat embossed the butterflies. I colored the butterflies with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, Smoke Quartz, Harvest Moon, Soft Jade, Blue Topaz.
Next i stamped the Friends sentiment from the Kimono Lotus Flower stamp set. I trimmed it to a strip and then notched one end at an angle. I added it to the tag with foam tape.
Then i just used double sided tape to adhere the card stock tag to the chip board tag. Last i used some brown ribbon to finish it off!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Art Impressions Challenge #176
Hello!!
I'm popping in with a card featuring paper piecing!! Art Impression has a challenge going on right now called Paper Piecing Party, i hope you will get your paper piecing on and play along with us!!
I started by picking out a 6 x 6 pattern paper pad, that way i know everything matches. I stamped the lady in a big coat form the Hobby Lobby exclusive clear stamp set Dare to Be Fabulous, many times on different patterns.
I stamped her one more time on white card stock and after fussy cutting all the pieces i adhered them on the white image. Then i used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her skin and hair. Next i fussy cut her out of the white card stock.
Next i dry embossed a flowery pattern and adhered it to a white card base. I cut a strip of another pattern and added it across my card.
Then i cut a stitched oval from white card stock and then stamped the Dare To Be Fabulous sentiment from the stamp set on the oval. Last i added the lady with foam dots. I decided against enamel dots or sequins because it was already busy enough with the patterns and the embossing!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope to see you play along with us at the Art Impressions Paper Piecing Party Challenge!!

At Our Age....
Hello!
Have you played along with AI's Paper Peicing Challenge?? Better get on that!! I'm on the Art Impressions blog and my card features paper piecing, in fact i have a few other cards as well to share in the future that feature paper piecing! What can i say, i've just been in that kind of mood!! :)
When i plan to paper piecing i pick out a 6 x 6 paper pad and use patterns from that pad. This way everything matches!! For this card i stamped Celeste one a couple didn't patterns and fussy cut out the couch and her pants. And of course i stamped the image on white card stock.
I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color her skin, hair, jewelry and wine. Then adhered the pattern paper to the couch and pants. Since her top already has an animal print i just colored it tan.
I added a pink pattern paper to a white card base. In the top left corner i stamped the sentiment, from a Michaels clear stamp set. I added a strip of black card stock across the card, then added the image with foam tape. Last i added a few light pink enamel dots.
I hope to see you play along with us at our Paper Piecing Party Challenge!!! Happy Stamping!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Flowers Bloom
Hello!
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! If your on the East Coast, hopefully you are snug as a bug in your home and not having to go outside!!!
Today i'm sharing a love card, perfect for Valentines day! I started by stamping the cute little cat and kitten from Crafter's Companion Mulberry Wood - Love You stamp set. I stamped it on CC's Kraft card stock, then used my Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils to color the image (001, 009, 029, 034, 035, 037, 039, 042, 056, 058, 089, 096, 112, 117)
Next i trimmed around the image a little, leaving space at the bottom for my sentiment. Around the top of the image i fussy cut around the flowers. I stamped the Where Flowers Bloom So Does Love sentiment below the image.
I found some cute heart pattern paper and used a stitched rectangle to cut out a panel. I wrapped some white yarn around the panel and tied it in a bow.
Then i adhered the panel to a white card base. Last i added my cat image with foam tape!
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back tomorrow with a great little sneak peek for you!!

Thank You
Hello!!
Today i'm sharing a card i made for the Avery Elle Challenge. The challenge is winter and i needed a thank you card so i pulled out some of my AE stamps and made this card! (Now i just need to write my message and get it in the mail!!! lol)
I started by die cutting and stamping the cute snowman from the Be Jolly stamp set. Then i used my Spectrum Noir markers to color him up!
Next i used a stitched oval die to cut some aqua card stock. I used the big snowflake from the Noel stamp set and with pigment ink stamped the snowflake all over the oval. Then i used my Wink of Stella and added sparkle to the snowflakes.
I added the stamped oval to a black card base and then adhered the snowman with foam tape. For a sentiment i stamped the Thank You from Oh Happy Day below the oval.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Ahh!
Hello AI Fans!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a card featuring one of the new AI People sets! I paired the Ahh Set with a stenciled background! Using stencils can help if you cant find matching pattern papers!
I started by stamped the Ahh women and then i used Copic markers to color her. Then i fussy cut her out leaving a small white border around her.
Next i placed a stencil over a white card base, using washi tape to secure it. Then i used the same copic markers that i used to color the women, to color in some of the spaces of the stencil. The ink of the marker will bleed a little, but i like the look!
Next i cut a strip of white card stock and adhered it to the card base. At the right side i stamped the Ahh! sentiment. I added the women with foam tape and last a few sequins!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

With Love
Hello!
Happy Tuesday!! Did you have a long weekend? If you did, it was great, right!! I got a lot of crafting done and some studying!!
Today i'm sharing a valentinish card with you! It dosen;t mention valentine's day, but it could work for the holiday!!
I started with a white card base and i placed the Sheena Douglas Wildflowers stencil over the bottom part of the card. Then i used Black Soot Distress Ink and an ink applicator to lightly color the in the stencil. I wanted the first layer to be grey, so i was light on the application. Then i moved the stencil down a little and inked it again, but this time with a heavier hand to color in the stencil black.
Next i flipped the stencil and placed it over the top part of the card and did the same stencil i did for the bottom of the card. Then i cut two thin strips of black card stock and adhered them to the top and bottom of the card.
For some color, i stamped and then cut out a few Anemone flowers from white card stock. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the flowers and leaves. I used CG2 DG2, DG3, DR1, DR5, DR6.
From my stash i found some gold, glitter brads and after punching a hole in the center of each flower, i layered the petals to create two flowers. I used some liquid glue to adhere the flowers and leaves to the card. Last i stamped the With Love sentiment from the Stamp It Australia Dreamy Daisies stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
