Hello!!
This is my second post today, click here if you are looking for my Art Impressions post!
Today I have another card featuring the new Verity Rose collection now available at Crafter's Companion!! The collection is full of great products and my card today features the Card Blanks Pad, Coloring Pad and the Doily Die!
I started with one of the cute girls from the Coloring Pad and the flower, then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them! I used BT8, CR4, CR5, CR6, CR9, FS1, FS4, FS6, GB1, GB4, JG2, JG3, JG7, LV2, LV3. Next I fussy cut around just the top part of the image and rounded the edges of the remaining card stock. Then fussy cut out the flower.
Next I cut the doily die from CC's Kraft Card Stock. Now that I had all my elements I pulled out the Card Blanks Pad, picked out the card that matched my girl. I added the doily directly to the card, then added the girl and flower with foam tape!
I thought about adding a sentiment, but in the end decided against it! The Card Blanks make card making so easy!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Make sure to stop by Crafter's Companion and check out all the great new products available in the Verity Rose Collection!!

Art Impressions Challenge #187
Hello!
It's the second week of Art Impressions #187 Slide on By challenge!! The challenge is to create an interactive card with something that hides something on your card! A perfect way to do this is to use AI's new Stacker stamps and Slider Die!!!
My card features the Duck Stacker and of course the Slider die that makes it so easy!!! First I used the die and cut it from some flower pattern paper. Then I cut two small panels that would fit inside the the frame. I stamped the stack of Ducks on one and then used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them. I used CT2, CT3,CT4, GB4, OR2, OR3.
Next I trimmed some yellow polka dot paper to fit a card base. I wrapped some twine around the panel and threaded a button and tied in a bow. Then I stamped the sentiment on some white card stock and then trimmed it to a square. I rounded the top corners and then added it to the card above the button.
Next I added the die cut frame and then the colored image, using a little bit of glue to keep it in place. Then I die cut a small circle on the cover panel and then slid it over the colored image. Last I added a matching brad below the button.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will play along with us over at Art Impressions!

It's Ok
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with two cards featuring the Jealous Too Wood Stamp available at Hobby Lobby! I also played around with some stencils and some cool gold paint at Target!! Yes, Target!!! It was part of a set of small bottles and meant for DIY projects!
Both cards ended up being similar, but I did chance a few things to make them a little different! I started by using the stencils and paint over some light blue pattern paper. The paint was pretty heavy, so next time a thicker card stock or pattern paper will be needed!!
While the paint was drying I die cut two different shapes from white card stock. I stamped the Jealous image on each and then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them. I used IG1, IG2, IG3, IG4, IG6, JG2, JG3, JG6.
Next I found some white doilies in my stash, I added these to my card then adhered the stamped panels to each card. To finish them off I added some green and white buttons to each card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello!!
Crafter's Companion has a new release today, Verity Rose! This is so cute and I love the retro 20's style!! There are so many products in this new collection, you really have to check it out!!!
Today's card features one of the little mini accessories stamps, Moonstruck and Sunbeam. Flamingo's have been everywhere! I decided to some spotlight coloring and made a background with the stamps.
First I stamped the Flamingo and tropical leaf all over a panel of Crafter's Companion's Water Color Card Stock. Next I placed a circle die in the middle of the panel and lightly traced around it with a pencil.
Then I used a few Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers to color the images just inside the circle. I used Sunflower, Orange, Moss, Blossom, Rose Pink, Teal.
While my coloring was drying I pulled out a strip of black card stock and then stamped and embossed the Thank You sentiment from Bebunni Sweet as a Rose stamp set. Then I used the Ribbon Border Die from the Verity Rose Collection on some black card stock. I found some backers twine that matched and threaded it through the ribbon border and tied it in a bow at one side.
I added the sentiment strip to the card and below that the ribbon border. The border is longer then the card so I just folded it around the edges, using glue to hold the ends and adding some glue along the rest of the border to hold it in place.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will stop by Crafter's Companion and check out all the new Verity Rose products!! I'll be back later this week with another card featuring the Verity Rose Collection.

Hello
Hiya!!
I'm stopping by with a card I made for Create A Smile's new challenge! The challenge is almost over, but you still have time to play along too!! I saw the challenge at the beginning of the month and added it to my calendar with the details so I could make a card when I had some time!!
The challenge theme is Favorite! I love cats (and collect cat figurines) so I pulled out Your View stamps set and created a little scene with the set that features the cat image!
I started by cutting a stitched rectangle from white card stock. Then I started stamping the window, curtains, cat and plant. I did some masking with all the images inside the window.
Next I stamped the branch and bird house at the lower left corner. I wanted it to look like the kitty was looking out the window at the bird! Then I stamped the Hello sentiment at the bottom right.
With my Spectrum Noir Markers I colored all the images except the pant, that was stamped with a green pigment ink. I used BP6, BT1, BT4, BT6, BT8, CG2, DR5, EB6, FS6, IG2, IG4, IG6, TN7, TN9.
To finish the card I added some matching pattern paper to a white card base and then added the stamped panel. Last I added a few blue and white sequins!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Coffee Lovers Summer Blog Hop
Hello!!
I'm sharing a card I made for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop today! I don't have a whole lot of coffee/tea stamps but I was at a stamping show a few months ago and I picked up this super cut set from Darcie's Heart and Home called Milk & Cookies. It's super cute set with a coffee cup and dount in the set.
To help with the summer theme I pulled out a collection pack from Carta Bella, Soak Up the Sun. I trimmed a stripe pattern paper to fit my card base and then used Distress Ink Antique Linen to ink around the edges. I did the same think with a Journal card from the pack.
On the journal card I stamped the sentiment Any Friend of Coffee is a Friend of Me with brown ink. Then I stamped the dount and coffee cup on some watercolor. To color them I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Colored Pencils, I used: Petunia, Watermelon, Fossil Grey, Gravel, Sorel, Bright Green, Parakeet, Carrot, Persimmon, Mango, Citrus Yellow.
When the watercoloring was dry I fussy cut them out, then added them to the journal card with foam tape. Then I added the journal card to my card base. I thought it need a little something more, so I added a sun sticker at the top right, behind the journal card.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm looking forward to all the great Summer Coffee inspiration on this hop!!!

Birthday Card Set
Hello!!
Today I'm on the Art Impressions blog and I have a little card set for you! Sometimes I need a card set to give as a gift or just need to do up some cards quickly. This set is perfect for both scenarios!! I found at a local grocery store some kits meant for page scrapbooking on clearance, I don't scrapbook, but I new these would help make quick cards!!!
For my cards today I picked out four of the big journal cards and went with two that said Hip Hip Hooray and the other had a balloon pattern. The cards were a little bit longer then a A2 card base and not quite as wide. I just adhered them to some black card bases and trimmed off the extra on each end. Pretty easy right?
Now all they need is an image and a sentiment. Since I was doing four at once and to keep things quick and easy I used the cake from Chocolate Therapy Clear Stamp set available at Hobby Lobby!! I stamped the cake four times and then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them. I used BT6, BT8, CG2, CT2, DG2, DR3, DR5, GB3, GB6, GB10, IG4, OR1, OR2.
Next I fussy cut out each cake and added foam tape to the back. For the Hip Hip Hooray cards I added a strip of star washi tape across the card, then stamped the More Candles, Bigger Cake sentiment and the added the colored cake.
For the balloon cards I stamped the confetti stamp across the top of the card and used my True Black Spectrum Noir marker to color them in. I die cut a stitched rectangle from white card stock and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment. Then I added the sentiment and cake to the two cards. Last I used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen to add some sparkle to the confetti and to the icing layers on all the cakes.
I hope this inspires you to maybe pick up some Journaling cards for some easy cards (hopefully you can find them on clearance, too!!) :) Thanks for stopping by!!

Oh, The Places You'll Flamingo
Hello!
Today I'm stopping by with a card I made for the Lawnscaping Challenge, the challenge is called Off Kilter or to at least have one element at an angle. Well my card is all about the angle!! I figured I would have the ground at an angle, but when I started looking at my pattern paper I found some with stripes at an angle, another with triangles at a angle and as my card came to be I had one layer cut at an angle!!
I started by stamping the flamingo and tiny flower from Lawn Fawn's Flamingo stamp set. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her up. I used CR2, CR4, GB3, OR2, PP3. Then I used some pigment ink to stamp the solid palm trees. With some sharp scissors I fussy cut everything out. I added the little flower to the flamingo and adding a small orange pearl to the flowers center.
Next I used Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangles to cut my pattern paper. One rectangle is from pink and black striped paper, this gets adhered to a white card base. A smaller rectangle is cut from a green triangle pattern. From this rectangle I cut a strip from the bottom part, at an angle.
Then I added the rectangle pieces to the card. The flamingo and palm trees are added with foam tape. For the sentiment I cut two banners from white card stock. On one I stamped Oh, The Places You'll and on the second Flamingo in pink ink. I added the banners to the card with foam tape. At the end I wrapped twine around the banners and tied it in a bow.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Mini Tryfolds
Hello AI fans!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with a card set featuring the new Mini Tryfolds! I made two of each using the Garden Window and Hello Friend and I paired them with the new Butterfly Clasp Die!
These Mini Tryfolds are easy to make, the stamps come with instructions and dies! I started by making the card with the instructions. Then I stamped front image on the front of left flap, then used the matching die to cut center. I folded the right flap in and traced the opening with a pencil.
Next I stamped the second image, centering it over the traced shape. With the other die I cut out the center and then folded it over and traced the shape with a pencil. Over the middle of shape I stamped the last, smaller stamp. I repeated this to complete four cards.
Then I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color each of the cards. I used: CG2, CG4, CG6, CR2, CT1, CT4, DG2, DG3, EB1, EB2, EB6, GB8, GB10, HB2, HB3, LV3, IG1, IG2, IG4, OR2, PP3, TB1, TB2, TB4.
The alcohol markers will bleed through the card stock, so to hide that on the inside of the flaps I added pattern paper. Once the pattern paper was adhered, I turned the card over and placed the matching die in the hole already cut and ran it through the die cutting machine again.
Last I used the Butterfly Clasp die and cut two from purple and two from pink card stock. I used them to wrap around each of the cards.
Happy Stamping!!
