Alcohol Markers on Kraft Cardstock

I'm popping in real quick to share a card I made for Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. I saw the challenge on Carol, Just Me:c blog and had to play along!! Cat's are my favorite and I just got Winnie & Walter's Welcome to the Family, it has an adorable little kitty!!

I kept it clean and simple, first stamping the kitty in the middle of the Kraft panel. Then I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment below the kitty and then used W&W's The Party set and stamped a few balloons above the kitty. I used a fine tip black pen to draw the string from the balloons to the kitties tail.

Then I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the cat and balloons. I kept it really simple, I just used IG2, and IG4 for the cat, IG6 for the ground. The Balloons are just one color each, BT7, DR3, CT1, OR3, LG3, LV3.

Last I added a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to the balloons for a little sparkle!! Then I trimmed the panel 1/4 inches around so it was a little smaller than the white card base.
