Graciellie Design - Peony Hugs

I'm stopping by today with a card I made featuring new Graciellie Design, Peony Hugs digital stamp set. This is my second card with this set, these peony's are just fabulous!!

I started by printing the single peony and leaves on watercolor card stock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua pencils to color the images. I fussy cut them out with some sharp scissors.

Next, I pulled out a Tim Holtz Lace stencil and I used Therm O Web Deco Foil Adhesive Pen to 'color' in the stencil. I didn't worry about it drying, its sticky regardless!

I did make sure to wash the stencil next, so it didn't have any adhesive on it for the next use! Then I applied Deco Foil Transfer Sheet - Amber Watercolor. So the foil would adhere to the adhesive I ran the card with the foil through my die cut machine. Then I just peeled back the foil and wa-la a gorgeous foil with a stencil! I saved the left over foil and will use it on a future card!!

For a sentiment I printed off Don't Worry, You've Got This and trimmed it it down to a strip. I added this and then peony over the foil,

Hello!!

Today I have a card featuring new digital stamps from Graciellie Designs, Peony Hugs! This set has great possibilities! It has peony's in a mug or buy itself!

I used the peony's in the mug, printing it on watercolor card stock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers to color the image. Next, I did a quick and easy fussy cutting with sharp scissors.

I also printed a sentiment and cut it to a thin strip. From my paper collection I picked out an older pad and trimmed some polka dot pattern to fit a card base. Then I added a strip of flower pattern paper.

Last I added the peony mug and sentiment to the card with foam tape. I decided any embellishments would take away from the image, so I left it alone!

Graciellie Designs - Fur Baby Love

Hello!!

Today I'm stopping by with a card featuring a NEW digital stamp set from Graciellie Designs - Fur Baby Love. Need a sympathy card for fur baby or just a pet themed card, this set is for you!!

I started by pasting the paw print and bone images in a Word document. Then I resized them and then made lots of copies! I made a background out of the two images.

I printed the background out and the sentiment on a separate sheet. Next, I trimmed the background so I had a panel that would fit on an A2 card base.

Then I picked out a heart die that was big enough to see the sentiment. With a red Spectrum Noir marker I colored the sentiment. Next, I cut the heart shape from my background panel.

With foam tape I added the background panel on top of my colored sentiment so it showed through the heart window. Last I added it to a white card base and rounded the corners!
