Hello,
It's time for a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge!! The challenge this week is Anything Goes! I am also entering this into Avery Elle's Watercolor Challenge.
For this card i used distress markers to do my watercoloring. I used the markers to color the stamps, spritz them with water, then stamped. I did this with all the stamps except the 'th' and 'hip hip hooray.'
I started with the number six from Avery Elle's Numbered Balloon stamp set. Next i stamped the balloon string and then Ellie the elephant. I also stamped some grass and a tiny bug.
To color the elephant and grass, i colored distress markers on a clear block and with water and a paint brush colored them up. Below Ellie i stamped a sentiment, but added to much water and you couldn;t read it. So i trimmed it off.
Next i found a piece of card stock and colored the bottom the same color as the balloon, first by coloring a clear block and adding water! Then i stamped and embossed in white a different sentiment. I adhered the strip to the bottom of card so it was back to its normal size! Last i added a few sequins
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you will play along with us Addicted to Stamps and More!!

I Thank My Lucky Stars for You
Hello!
I hope everyone is having a great week so far!! I've been busy making cards, studying and working! Last two weeks of the semester so i've been studying any extra time i can find!! I've also fallen behind in my blog reading, but i'm trying to do a little each day!! Today i have a card using a few of The Alley Way Stamps April release stamps!!
I started by stamping the super cute aliens from Phone Home and Blast Off. Colored them up with Copics and cut them out.
For my background i use the dot and star background from the Star of the Show stamp set. I inked it up with a couple yellow and orange distress inks, lightly spritzed it with water and stamped it over the top half of a white card base.
Next i stamped my sentiment (from Say It Don't Spray It) on a white card stock strip. With a yellow distress marker i highlighted the work Lucky. Then i adhered the aliens to the back of the card stock strip, so it looks like they are peeking over.
Last i added the strip with the attached aliens to my card base with foam tape!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!!

Thanks
Hi!!
I have a little distress marker water coloring card to share! I've been in the mood for water coloring with my distress markers and have made a couple card already using this technique, first up i used The Alley Way Stamps Pick One.
To start i pulled out a few colors, a purple, 2 different pinks and a blue (oh and green for the leaves!). I colored a flower stamps (i used the Pick One set) with one of the markers, spritz it with water and stamp it on water color paper. I repeat with different stamps and colors. With this card i went with three little clusters of flowers.
Then my card needed a sentiment so i pulled out Big Chatter and decided on the Thanks. At first i thought about just using black ink, but then though why not, i colored it up with a black distress marker, spritz it and then stamped!! To spice up the card i added some sequins!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Art Impressions Challenge #157- Take Two
Hello,
I'm popping in to share a card featuring Art Impressions new Big Mouth stamps! The new stamps also coincide with Ai challenge, Make Me Smile. For my card i used the new Cat Big Mouth stamp.
I started by stamping the cat on watercolor paper and colored him up with distress markers. Then i stamped the hat and the cake parts on some green card stock. I cut the hat and cake out, then used a white opaque pen to color in certain areas.
Then i used the little mouth die to cut the mouth out of the cat. I adhered it to a tab i made from card stock. Next i stamped and cut out the little mouse and added him to the tab too. From a piece of black card stock i cut a slit to thread the tab through. I added the cat to the black piece with foam tape. When you pull the the mouth opens showing the little mouse.
Next i found some pattern paper, i cut a slit above and below the gold strip. I threaded the pull tab through, then adhered the cat to the pattern paper with glue and adhesive dots.
I added the word pull to the bottom of the tab and last stamped Say Cheese near the bottom and adhered the panel to a white card base.
Thanks for stopping by!

The Best Accessories!
Hello
Have you done your taxes?!?! If not better get on that!!! :D
Today i'm sharing an Art Impressions card that was started several weeks ago, but was just finished this past weekend!
My mom needed a card for a friend, there was a time crunch so i had to make a quick one. Well i had two of these ladies colored from the Uptown Girls Set (quick coloring with one color!) when my mom checked on my progress. That's when she mentioned that her group of girl friends was only three not four.... so i had to start over and go in another direction with only three of these ladies. Meanwhile this panel was hanging around waiting to be finished!!
I finished coloring up these fashionista's with my Copic markers, reapplying the same color for the darker areas. The whole panel was cut with a dotted rectangle die. Next i stamped the 'girlfriends are the best accessories' sentiment above the ladies.
I matted the panel on some dark pink card stock. Last i added some black enamel dots because i thought the card needed a little something more!

Groovy Kind of Love
Hello!!
I'm stopping in today with a card featuring new The Alley Way Stamps!!! For my card i am using Feeling Groovy and Far Out.
I started by making a heart background, first i die cut a heart from some card stock. I placed the negative heart over my white card base. Next i stamped the big tie die stamp all over the negative heart, i used three different colors of pigment ink.
Next i stamped the hippie guy and girl so they are holding hands. I also added the heart necklace to the girls dress and glasses for the guy. Then i colored them both up with Copic markers. I cut the couple out, leaving a small white border around them and then added them to my card with foam dots.
Last i stamped the sentiment above and below the couple (did a little masking to split up the sentiment) and then rounded the corners of the card!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

ETA (edited to add): Kylie was sweet enough to mention that my card is perfect for today's new Addicted to CAS Code Word: Showers!! You have plenty of time to play along too!!!
I started by die cutting the sun and clouds from white card stock. I stamped the solid could with a blue pigment ink and then the outline cloud in a dark blue pigment ink. For the sun i inked it up first in yellow and then added a little bit of orange ink around the center then stamped it. For the circle i just used the ink pad to color it orange.Next i cut a stitched rectangle from blue card stock and added it to a white card base. Then i added the clouds and sun, some with foam tape.
