Hiya!
Today i'm sharing a card for The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge #46! Make sure you play along for you chance for a prize!!
I took inspiration from the colors and the strips. I found some paper scraps that matched the colors the best and i cut them in small strips. I then just threw them on my card base, moved one or two around but left them pretty much were they laid.
With these different colors i thought the True Color set was perfect. I stamped the paint brush and colored it with distress markers. I die cut a tiny tag and stamped the sentiment color and then tied it to the paint brush. I adhered the paint brush with foam tape.
I stamped the first part of the sentiment above the strips and because i got a little ink at the bottom of the card i used the ink blot stamp to make some blots to hide my mistake!
Have a great day!! I also want to mention that this month is The Alley Way Stamps 3rd birthday and to celebrate, there is a coupon good for January, 25% off your purchase, use code TAWSbirthday3 at checkout!!

Love the design! What a great way to use up scraps!
ReplyDeleteThe strips are fabulous! And I love how you covered the boo-boo - some of the best ideas come from "OH NO, now what?" mistakes!
