Hello!!
I'm popping in with a card today featuring one of The Alley Way Stamps new March stamps, Hard Boiled! Such an adorable set, for my card i went a little vintage with the help of pattern paper.
I started by using a dotted rectangle die to cut some pattern paper, then i inked the edges with distress ink. I adhered it to a peice of card stock that matches my pattern paper. Next i cut a strip of kraft card stock and adhered it across my card. From another peice of kraft i cut a heart and lines die, then inked it up to make it a little bit darker then the kraft, then added it to the kraft strip.
Next i stamped a few of the chickens and chicks from the Hard Boiled set in brown ink, then colored them up with Copic markers. Next i i cut them out and inked there edges with a distress marker.
I have a few matching buttons and brads that are apart of the same collection as the pattern paper. I added one of each to my card, then added the chicks with foam dots. Last i stamped the 'You're Eggstra Special sentiment in brown ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Dana
