What's Perking?

Hello!!

I'm popping in today to share a Flashback TAWS card that i made for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (you have until March 6th to play along too!) I'm not a coffee or tea drinker, but i love hot cider (in my orange mug of course!)! And boy i've been drinking a lot this winter, its been so cold here in Michigan!!

I started by stamping 4 of the coffee mug from the Breakfast Club set on spring colored pattern papers. I'm pretty sure the pattern paper is from a very old Lawn Fawn pad. I fussy cut them out, paper piecing different parts of some of the mugs.

I set them aside to work on my background. I used the TAWS Pick One stamp set and a few different Memento Luxe pigment inks. I stamped some of the flowers and leaves using second generation stamping since i wanted a light background.

From Kraft card stock i cut a strip and adhered it to my card base. I added the mugs to the Kraft 'shelf.' It needed something else so i decided to add tiny flowers, which i found i had already cut some from the same pattern paper, so i added one to the card. Last i stamped the sentiment at the bottom.

    Love your card with all those different coffee cups! Reminds me of my cup cabinet! Love that sentiment too! Great card!
