Hello!

Art Impressions has a new Watercolor release!! And the current AI challenge is a great way to show off these new stamps!! The challenge is Watercolor Stamping and you can use any Watercolor stamps you have!! The new release includes Covered Bridge Mini and Old Barn Mini! You can see all of the Watercolor Mini's here!!

For my card, I used the Covered Bridge Mini. These stamp sets come with directions and they are super easy to follow! I used Distress Markers to do my Watercolor Stamps, but you can also use the Marvy Markers!

If you are new to Watercolor Stamping, it's very easy! Just use the markers to color the stamp and stamp! Add a little water to spread the ink around and wa-la your Watercolor Stamping. It's super easy and I followed along with the instructions as I colored the bridge and trees. A lot of the coloring is layering the marker on, to make certain area's darker and more defined. (Color's I used are listed below with the supplies)

After my watercoloring was dry I Avery Elle Custom Panel die to die cut the nice curve. I found some brown pattern paper and added it to a white card base. Then I added the watercolor panel and trimmed off the extra from the top and sides.

From an alpha sticker sheet, I spelled out HI and added them to the right side of the card. Then I added a tiny bow that I tied just below the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to stop by Art Impressions blog and play along with us at the Watercolor Stamping Challenge!
