Hello!!!
Its the first day of Sneak Peeks over at The Alley Way Stamps!! The November release only a few days away! Today i'm showing a sneak of the new Making Holiday Bright!
This is a great versatile set! You can go holiday, or something for any day!! I decided to make a sun to go with the sentiment A Ray of Sunshine.
I started by taking a circle die cut and placing it over the bottom left corner, then i traced the circle. I used this as a guide when i stamped the rays.
Next i inked up one of the big triangle with dye ink. I used an array of colors from light yellow to dark orange. I started with a medium orange and then inked the edges with a darker orange. I did this multiple times around the circle i traced. I continued to do this using lighter oranges/yellows each time around.
I found some orange card stock that matched my ink and i die cut it with my circle die. I inked the edge of the circle with the darker orange ink. Then i stamped the sentiment and then embossed it with white embossing powder. I added the circle to my card base with foam tape and then cut off the excess. Last i added a few orange and white sequins.
Thanks for stopping by!! Make sure you stop by The Alley Way Stamps blog today for your chance to win the new Making Holiday's Bright stamp set.

ReplyDeleteI'm late with the sneak peeks, but your peek has my interest piqued (it's been a long day at the bike races *grin*) The rays, the 'array' of colours, the arrangement (see...told you!)...only absolutely awesome!
