Hello!!
Crafter's Companion has a new release today, two new stamp sets celebrating America and the Fourth of July!! The release is just in time for you to get the stamps to help celebrate the Fourth, I can;t believe that July is just over a month away!!!
The two new stamps are called Independence Day and 4th of July, I used both on my card. On a piece of Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth White card stock, I stamped the 4th of July sentiment and the three firecrackers.
Next, I used a few new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens to color the firecrackers, stars and fireworks. I used Hearthside, Gold and Teacup. It's super sparkly in person, its hard get a good picture of it!
From my stash I found some chipboard stars and I used my CR11 Spectrum Noir Marker to color them. I trimmed a piece of blue card stock and adhered it to a white card base. Then I trimmed the stamped panel and adhered it to the card. Last I added the colored stars.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Bowler Babes
Hi!!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today I'm sharing a card featuring the Spare Me Clear Stamp Set available at Michael's. I did a little paper piecing with some pattern paper from Basic Grey.
First I cut some white card with a stitched rectangle die. Then I stamped the three lady bowlers on the panel and a couple times on different pattern papers. I fussy cut out there shirt and and pants. There was solid colors in the pad, that I used for the bowling balls.
Next I used my Spectrum Noir to color the ladies skin and hair. I used CT2, FS2, FS3, GB8, GB10, IG2. I stamped the Bowler Babes sentiment and also added a little grey marker (IB2) for the ground.
I trimmed another pattern paper smaller then the white card card base and adhered it. Over it I added the stamped panel with foam tape. I also have the matching embellishments to the pattern pad and picked out a few to add to the two corners of the panel.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello You
Hi there!!
I'm stopping by with a card I made for Lawnscaping Challenge - #130 Sparkle It Up! For my sparkle I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens for my background!!! It's a lot more sparkly in person then in my photo below, these pens pack a LOT of sparkle!!!
I started by die cutting the stitched shape from watercoloring paper. With a big paint brush I added water to the shape and then I added Ocean Waves and Sage to the panel. Unintentionally I gave the Sage pen a squeeze and a big glob of sparkly ink came out on my panel. At first I was like oh &#*@, but then with a little water I spread it round and it turned out ok! I added a little Ocean Waves here and there and blended it in with the Sage. When it was all dry, I flicked water droplets over it.
While the panel was drying I stamped and colored the Starfishes and Jelly Fishes. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color them up! I used CT1, CT3, CT4, GB5, OR1, PL1, PL2, PP1, PP3, PP5. Then I fussy cut them out.
After the panel was totally dry from the water droplets I punch a whole in the top to make it into a tag. Then I stamped the Hello You sentiment in versamark and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Then I went digging around my desk, I had some Lawn Fawn twine that came wrapped around a purchase that I was sure would match and sure enough, once I found it, it was perfect!! I cut 3 smallish lengths and thread them all through the hole at the top of the tag. Then with another longer length, tied a bow around the tails of the twine. Last I added the tag to a white card base with foam tape!
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back later this afternoon with a card featuring new stamps from Crafter's Companion!!

It's Not Going To
Hello!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a card featuring a new Clear Stamp set now available at Hobby Lobby! There are several new clear and wood stamps available, so make sure you stop by your local Hobby Lobby to check them all out!! This one is called Chocolate Therapy and has some very funny sentiments to go along with the images in the set!
I started by stamping the ladies and cake image on white cards stock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the up! If you use SN markers I highly recommend Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth White Card Stock! I've tried a couple different brands of card stock, but CC's brand really works the best!! Color's used: ( I could be a little off with these colors as I can't find my list!! Sorry!!) BP5, BP4, CG3, CT3, CT4, DG2, DG3, EB1, EB2, FS2, FS3, GB8, GB10, HB2, HB3, IG2, IG4, IG6, OR2, TB5, TB6.
Once my coloring was done, I got out my scissors and did some fussy cutting!! When that was done I found some washi tape on my desk, an after Christmas on clearance purchase!! Here I decided to go with a black card base to help show off the gold washi tape!
I added the washi tape across the card, then added my stamped image with foam tape. Last I stamped the sentiment in white ink at the top right corner.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Best Wishes
Hello!!
I'm stopping in with a card today using a new stamp I picked up at scrapbook show that came through town a couple weeks ago! I picked up quite a few stamps, more then I really need, but it's nice to have all these different stamps in once place!! And of course no shipping charge!! :) I picked up a couple Penny Black stamps and my card today features the Poppy Gems stamp.
I started by stamping the poppies in brown in on watercolor card stock. Then I used some Prima Watercolors to color them, all from the Decadent Pies set.
I tend to be heavy handed when I watercolor with real paints (verses distress markers or inks). I also have a hard time waiting for each layers to dry. You are probably thinking that's what an heat gun is for, but mine is on the other side of the room and I'm too lazy to keep getting up to blast my paper with some heat!!!
When I was finally done messing with color, I waited awhile and then used the same colors to flick some blotches all over the panel. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Special Wishes stamp set. Last I added a few sequins and mounted the panel on a white card base.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

The Nice Nurse
Hello AI fans!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today with a card that features one of the new Clear Stamp Sets available at Michael's, Get Well. I did a little paper piecing on the nurse and also colored some chipboard from my stash.
I started by die cutting a big speech bubble from white card stock, then I stamped the nurse from the Get Well set along with the sentiment. Then I stamped the nurse it on some pattern paper and then fussy cut out her nurses uniform. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color her skin, hair and earrings, I used BT2, BT4, FS2, FS3, GB8, GB10, IB2, IB3.
Next I cut a stitched rectangle from some other pattern paper from the same paper pad. I found some star washi tape on my table and I added it across the panel. From the paper pad I found cut a strip of star pattern and added that to the card above the washi tape.
Then from my embellishment stash I found a few chipboard stars. I colored the stars with the BT2 Spectrum Noir Maker, then used the Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. Next I added the stamped speech bubble with foam tape to the panel, then adhered the stars. Last the panel was added to a white card base.

Vintage Sparkle Pens
Hello!!
Today Crafter's Companion is releasing some NEW Sparkle Pen colors, Vintage Hues!! These colors are sooo pretty and there is a lovely metallic set too!! Sparkle Pens can be used on fabric, this is my second prodject using these on fabric, the color and sparkle really looks good on fabric!!
From my local craft store I found these linen canvas pack, I loved the homey look of the dyed linen! First I used Sheena Douglass Taste of India Henna and Mandala stamp sets to stamp the canvas's. For ink I used black Stazon.
Next I used many of the new Sparkle Pens to color the images. When using the pens on fabric, remember that the ink will bleed some, especially the more ink you use. So I color just inside the lines, also thick lined images work best to help hide any bleeding. I used Hearthside, Peacock Blue, Onyx Black, Fig, Sand Dune, Ocean Wave, Sage.
These pens have awesome sparkle and you can see some of it in the picture below. This is a super easy project, if you need a fast gift!! I think i'll look for some simple black frames for these linen canvas's!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Some Bunny Loves You
Hello!
I'm on the Art Impression blog with a card featuring the new Mini Bunny Spinner!! This bunny is so cute and with the sentiment in the set, it doesn't have to be a Easter only stamp set!
First I stamped the front and back bunny and two of the egg. Then I used Spectrum Noir Markers to color them up! I used CG1, CT2, CT4, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6, PP2, PP3, TB1, TB2. Then I used the matching dies to cut out the bunnies and eggs.
Next, I ran them all through my sticker machine. I use white embroider floss in between the sticker bunnies! The little eggs go above the bunny and I always make sure my spinner actually spins ok in my window!
I added the spinner bunny and egg to the white card base, pulling the floss taunt. Then I add the pattern paper on top, this hides the floss holding the bunny in the window.
Then I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock and notched the left side. I also die cut some tiny flowers and leaves and used the same Spectrum Noir Makers from above to color them. Then I added the sentiment and then the flowers with foam dots.
Thanks for stopping by!!
