Hello!
I'm stopping by with a quick card today. If you are looking for my Art Impressions post, click here. Yesterday Crafter's Companion released Spectrum Noir Graphic Markers! You can click on the link to be taken to the markers or see more info at Spectrum Noir's site.
These are NOT new colors! So if you have the original or Illustrator markers you do not necessarily have to get these markers too (unless you just want to! haha). The Graphic markers have the classic nib and broad chisel nubs and 25% more ink. They are geared toward the student/design artists who might use them a lot for their artwork.
My card today features these markers and the new SN Premium Marker Pad. I challenged myself to use only the sets that received, Industrial, Tints, and Basics. The actual Graphic Markers I used on this card are AG3, BT2, CR11, CG1, PP1, RB2, RB4.
To start I die cut a panel from the Marker pad with a stitched rectangle. Then I used the circle and butterfly from Spectrum Noir Colorista Aqua Best Wishes stamp set. I did second generation stamping so they stamped lighter then the black ink I used. Then I used the big flower set from Spectrum Noir Colorista Aqua My Sunshine stamp set. Then I used the above Graphic Markers to color the image.
Next, I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Best Wishes and added metallic silver sequins. Last I mounted the panel on some grey cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by! I if you are new to Spectrum Noir or an artist or know someone who is, I would suggest taking a look at these markers!!

Easter Blessings
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today! Easter is fast approaching! AI has lots of Easter sets, a new one last year is Easter Blessings with super cute images!
First, I stamped and colored the rabbit in the sunflower. I used the following Spectrum Noir markers to color the image: CT1, CT3, CT4, EB1, EB2, FS7, LG2, LG3, LG5. Nest I fussy cut the image out.
From my stash, I found some old DoodleBug orange flower pattern paper, which I adhered to a white card base. Then with watercolor cardstock, I used distress ink to make the paper yellow and orange, trimming it so the orange pattern paper could be seen on the sides.
I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the panel, then wrapped some twine around it. I added the sentiments and a few sequins and last added the bunny.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

W & W 4th Birthday Bash - Watercolor with a Twist Challenge
Hello!
I'm back with my last card for Winnie & Walter's Birthday Bash Challenges! This card is for the Watercolor with a Twist, basically, do some watercoloring and some other type of coloring. I did some watercolor smooshing and used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the images.
I started with watercolor cardstock and used low tack tape to make a small rectangle. Then I used Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed and a piece of acetate to smoosh the color in the rectangle. When I was happy with the colors I set it aside to dry.
Next, I stamped two party decor, a big one and small one from The Party stamp set. I used BO1, BO4, OR2, OR3 to color both, then I fussy cut them out.
When my watercolor was dry I removed the tape and used my MISTI to stamp the Every Day is a Party With You sentiment in pigment ink. I adhered black twine to the back of each decor and then added them to the card with foam tape. With liquid adhesive, I folded the twine over the top and adhered it to the back side. When they were dry I added the watercolor panel to a white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

W & W 4th Birthday Bash - Four Challenge
Hiya!!
Here again with another card for the W & W Birthday Bash! This time it's the 4 Challenge. I made a baby card and to follow the challenge used 4 images (from the Welcome to the Family set), 4 pattern papers, 4 sequins and I only used 4 different markers to color the image.
I started by die cutting and stamping the images. Then I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers, BG6, CR4, IG2, RB1. To add shading, I waited until my coloring was dry, then went back in with the same color to add another layer for shading.
Then I picked out four different patterns from Crate Paper - Little You pad. I cut them into strips and fit them next to each other across the card.
From the paper pad I cut out the Sweet Dreams Little One sentiment rectangle and arranged the four animals around the sentiment. Last I added 4 clear sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I have just one more card for the Birthday Bash to share in just a little bit!

W & W 4th Birthday Bash - Anything But a Card Challenge
Hello!!
I'm stopping by with more projects I made for Winnie & Walter's Birthday Bash! For the Anything But a Card Challenge I made a box for cards. I happened upon this video through Instagram. The box dimensions would not quite fit an A2 card, but know that I've made one I can play adjusting the measurements to fit several A2 cards.
I'm not going to go it to details on how I made it, you can watch the video for that!! I made the box out of Kraft cardstock and then cut some purple cardstock to fit on top.
From W & W The Party set I stamped the party hat outline in a dark color and the stripe in a smaller purple. I also stamped the fancy edge along the bottom edge and then fussy cut it out.
On a strip of Kraft cardstock I stamped Hooray It's your Day and then added it to the purple panel. I added twine to the panel wrapping it around and tieing it like a package. Then I added the party hat with foam tape. Last I adhered the panel to the top of the box.
Thanks for stopping by!!

W&W 4th Birthday Bash - Inspiration Challenge
Hello!!
This is my second W & W Birthday Bash card, for the Inspiration Challenge. Another baby card using light and light dark pink with white and kraft. Here is the Inspiration photo:
I started by white embossing the big bubbly border stamp from Scenery: The Party Hangover on some dark pink cardstock. From light pink cardstock, I die cut a stitched rectangle. I added the dark pink panel with foam tape and trimmed off the excess at the sides and top. Then I added the panel to a Kraft card base.
Next, I stamped and die cut the cut bear and rabbit from Welcome to the Family. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the image. From The Big, The Bold, and the Happy I stamped and embossed the Happy on the dark pink.
From the Family set, I stamped Little One on a Kraft strip and added it below the Hello. Last I added a strip of kraft cardstock across the top of the card and the colored image with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back tomorrow with more W & W birthday bash cards!!

W & W 4th Birthday Bash Repetitive Stamping Challenge
Hello!
This month is Winnie & Walter's Birthday, I played along in previous years and thought I better play along again this year for good luck!! Plus I really needed some baby cards and challenges are a great way for me to get some cards made!! I did 5 of their 10 challenges. If you want to play along, get cracking because you have until Wednesday to play along!!
The first challenge I did was Repetitive Stamping. I started with one of the border stamps from the Scenery: The Party Hangover set. With my MISTI I moved the cardstock panel around to get the creative stamping happening, changing the colors with every new stamping. The stamp isn't long enough on the diagonal, but I figured I would add some cardstock or something to cover that area up.
Next, I stamped and die cut the super cute giraffe from Welcome to the Family stamp set. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color him up!
I picked out some shimmering paper from Crafter's Companion that matched my stamping and added it to the panel on the diagonal. Then I stamped the sentiment from The Big, The Bold and Blessings along with The Big, The Bold and the Happy.
I used Altenew inks to stamp the background and I thought that the little giraffe needed something so I used one of the inks to color some twine and then tied it in a tiny bow and adhered it to the giraffe. Last, I added the giraffe to the card with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back in a little while with my second W&W Birthday Bash card!!

Speedy Recovery
Hello!!
I'm on the Art Impressions blog today! The Catastrophy Set is perfect if you are a cat lover or know one!! Several images and lots of funny sentiments are perfect for cat lovers!!
I started by stamping the cat with the collar and then using my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. I used: BO3, BO4, GB3, IG2, Blender. Then I used a stitched rectangle to cut out the image.
I picked out some pink and gold pattern paper, one pattern was pink with gold dots and I used a stitched rectangle to cut it out and adhered it to a grey card base. From a pink triangle pattern, I cut just a little bit bigger than the stamped rectangle.
I found from my stash some gold washi tape and I added three stripes of it on the polka dot paper lengthwise. Then I added the image and other pattern paper on top with foam tape.
I stamped the Wishing Your Furry Friend a Speedy Recovery sentiment and notched one end. I added the sentiment with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!

Crafter's Companion on HSN March 7th
Hello!!
Crafter's Companion will be on HSN March 7th with a ton of great new products!! Like a TON!! Today I have a card featuring a new Stamps by Chloe, doing some watercoloring stamping and die cutting!! Check out Crafter's Companion website here for a peek at some of the new products coming to HSN!
I started with Blossoming Foliage stamp set and did some watercolor stamping!! It's a super easy and fun technique. With Blossom, Scarlet, Leaf Green, and Moss Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers I colored the leaves and flower stamps, spritzed some water and then stamped them on CC's Watercolor Cardstock. If need I would recolor the image, spritzed and stamp again if I didn't have enough color.
I set assigned the background to dry and then moved on to the flowers. I used Blossom and the smooshing technique on some watercolor cardstock. Then I used the Layered Flower die to cut a few flowers, then I adhered a few layers together and added a black enamel dot to the center.
Next, I stamped two leaves with the same watercolor stamping technique mentioned above and fussy cut them out. When my panel was dry I wrapped some black twine around it a few times and tied it in a knot.
Last I added the flower and leaves on top of the twine. I used a clear block to hold it in place until it was dry. Then I could 'fluff' up the flower petals.
Thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back later in the week another card featuring new products that will be available March 7th on HSN!!

Happy Valentine's Day
Hello!!
Happy Valentine's Day!!! I'm single so no celebrations for me, but I'm on the Art Impressions blog with a Valentine card to share with you!! It features the Valentine Mail, part of the Windows to the World stamp line.
I started by stamping the image on white cardstock and using my Spectrum Noir Marker to color it. I used: AB1, AB3, AG1, AG2, AP2, BGR1, BGR2, BGR3, BO4, CT1, CT3, CT4, LG1, LG2, LG4, LG5, PP1, PP2, PP4, PP5, RB1, RB2. I did a bit of quick coloring, leaving some white areas as I colored which helps to give it a light fresh spring-like feel to the image!
Then I trimmed the image down to make a square and round the corners. Next, I decided to use up some old stickers that I have had forever!! They are from SRM Stickers called We've Got Your Borders Valentine. I checked and they show up on their website, but currently out of stock. Not sure if this means to do still carry them or not because I really have had these a long time!!
I basically added the border stickers one after each other across a white card base! Then I added the stamped image to the center with foam dots and last rounded just the bottom two corners!
Have a great day!!

CLC & Gracielle Designs Collaboration
Hello!!
I'm excited to be hopping with designers from Coffee Loving Cardmakers AND Gracielle Designs!! Gracielle has designed an amazing coffee digi stamp set called Coffee & Love! You can hop along to see lots of different takes on this fab stamp set!!
If you arrived from the amazing Dana Gong blog, you are in the right place!! If you get lost you can check out the blog hop list on the CLC blog or Gracielle blog! You can also find the beginning of the hop if you want to start there!! Oh, and don't forget to leave comments along the way for your chance at 2 $10 gift cards to Gracielle Designs Etsy shop!!
Ok! On to my card!! I started by printing out the image and sentiments!! Being a digital stamp you can resize them to fit your needs!! Then I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the image, I used: AB1, AB2, AB3, AP1, AP2, AP4, BG3, BG4, BG6, BG7, BG8, BT9, CG2, DG3, DR7. Then I fussy cut around the image and one of the sentiments.
For my background, I used the leftover negative of a foil transfer! For the other project, I used a stencil and added liquid adhesive from Therm O Web, kind of like embossing paste! But since its glue as soon as your done, wash it! I let the adhesive totally dry! Also, note that depending on how careful you are or want to be some glue can get under the stencil. It can give a nice not perfect/aged look to it. The stencil I used was Simon Says Stamp Dots and Lines.
When the adhesive was dry I added Therm O Web's Deco Gold Foil to the panel. The gold sticks to the adhesive. What's left over is the negative part of the stencil on the transfer foil and this is what I used on my card. I just added the transfer foil to a piece of adhesive cardstock and that panel was added to a white card base.
Next, I added a strip of brown cardstock with foam dots along with my colored image on top. I applied some light brown ink to the sentiment as the white cardstock was too stark against the card. The sentiment went next to the coffee cup and last I added a few sequins and cork dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Your next stop in the hop is the super talented Erin Theim!
