Hello!

STAMPlorations also is having a great sale on Coffee/Tea Lovers section!! Yay, for coffee & tea crafty goodness!! Also, make sure you comment along the hop for your chance to win $25 gift certificate to STAMPlorations!! Comment by August 3rd!!
The DT received the awesome Zen Coffee 2 Cover Plate Die!! This die can be used in so many ways, the inspiration on this hop is amazing!!
I started by die cutting the cover plate from black cardstock. Then I placed the black panel over watercolor cardstock, keeping it in place with washi tape. I used a pencil to lightly trace around all the cutouts.
I flipped the panel up so I can color inside the lines. I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers and a little water to color. For the most part, I stayed in the lines, I didn't worry too much about the small little areas.
When it was all dry I erased the pencil lines and then added liquid glue to the back of the die cut and flipped it back over on top of the watercoloring. While that was drying I stamped and white embossed the sentiment Perk Up from the After Coffee stamp set. Last I added a few white sequins!!
Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Helen Gullett!! Have a great day!!
Dana
