Hello!!
I'm so excited, today is my first post for Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge!!! The challenge this week is to Make Your Mark! The sponsor is CAS-ual Friday Stamps! When i made my card i didn;t have any of their stamps, but i just got a prize package that included some so i'll be able to feature there stamps the next time they sponsor a challenge! Whoo Hoo!!
Today's card features a stamp set that i haven't used before a super cute set from Lawn Fawn. Since the challenge is to Make Your Mark i figured i color up this set!!
I started by die cutting a stitched rectangle from white card stock. I stamped the It May Sound Corny, But in black ink, near the bottom of the rectangle. In my stash of extra;s i had a die cut red Love, i add it below the sentiment and then stamped I and You to the left and above the Love
Next on a scrap piece of card stock i stamped and colored the little smiling corn cob. I colored the leaves with my Copic markers, but i don't have yellow Copics so i tried to use my distress markers, but they don;t blend good on my card stock. So to cover it up i stamped the corn again on some watercolor paper, colored it with distress markers, cut it out and added it to my first corn.
I added the little corn cob to the rectangle with some foam dots. Then i stamped a few hearts above the corn and colored them with Copics. Last i added the rectangle to a red card base.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you play along with us at Addicted to Stamps & More!! I can't wait to see your projects!!
