Today i am sharing a card i made for My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch:
The first thing i did was find some text pattern paper. I used the MFT Scattered Bars stencil, laying it over the pattern paper. I mixed some embossing paste and some light pink Distress Paint together and added it to the stencil, amazingly i mixed just enough!!
I went through my extra what-not stash and found a banner already cut. I stamped the Have a Beary Happy Birthday sentiment in black. I glanced in my embellishments box and remembered that i have some rustic metal hearts. I cut one off and curled each end.
Last it was just a matter of putting it all together. I added the rectangle with foam dots, then added the banner below. I used some foam dots and glossy accents to adhere the heart.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Dana
